I hate when Americans bring up how dumb F1 is...I'm American and I love F1 and NASCAR. Everyone knows you get torn apart if you say NASCAR is better. But to say NASCAR is just going in circles is very inaccurate (not just because it is an oval). I don't think anyone should say anything bad about any sport until they have tried it. I've raced road and oval, and found oval harder and more competitive because it is all about guts and will to push the car hard into the corners.

NASCAR started as an illegal form of racing decades ago. It was always oval track, and low rumbling V8. The NASCAR of today is the one of the biggest motorsport event (if not the biggest). NASCAR stick with the tradition of V8.

JSpenser had it right. These days F1 is boring to watch. It is very high tech yes, but I rather watch NASCAR, Aussie SuperV8, FIA GT1.

And keep watching F1, it is looking to downsize to 2 liter turbo charged four bangers, limited rev to 10k rpm. It used to be an exciting motorsport when Aryton Senna was still around. But these days after the first few laps then it becomes boring. Almost no passing, definitely no trading paint.
