4th Gen reeeeally had some beautiful music and diverse environments to boot. It made the experience incredibly enjoyable, enough for me to want to keep playing it even after getting a copy of SoulSilver.

One thing I can't understand...why is always the two first games in the gen always more popular when the third is always the same, but better with more functions and such. Great list by the way! My favorite is before battle with cynthia (great piano song) and the pokemart theme (also great piano song) The small songs before you start a normal battle is always catchy too =D

I've never played Platinum, but the Game Corner theme is the same in Diamond/Pearl, and it's awesome! It starts out sounding really good, then best of all, incorporates the original Game Corner theme from R/B/Y. Brilliant! :D
