on our rigs crysis looks sweet.....got one 8800gt an on other pc got a 9600(pretty much the same)but crysis looks fucking amazing and i didint used to like it that much but then i turned hotkeys on.....they did the hotkeys good iv been playing and replaying the single player of both crysis and crysis warhead...also the mp is fun too i give crysis and crysis warhed thumbs up (with hotkeys anyway)

It depends on the types of games you like to play. At the moment, I'd generally say the 360 due to a better set of exclusives, excellent online system, and bigger player base.
But.. the PS3 will have MGS4 soon and FFXIII next year, so if you're more into RPG's, the PS3 may come into it's own by next year.
btw guys i found a old but amazing ps2 game wen getting it out the garage, it is called war of the monsters it has amazing storyline and good graphics for the ps2. but anyway you guys should check it out.
i actually have a custom pc so i made it and i uprade it and it only costs like 20 dollars so you can buy new stuff i can teach you or tell you where you can get custom one

I have an xbox 360 and am getting a PS3 in 2 days. I must say the christmas lineup of the PS3 is god awful! The xbox 360 has so many brilliant games out at the moment. Guess my PS3 will just be a Blu Ray player until good exclusives come out.
And dont even bother listing PS3 games, its a known fact that Xbox has far more original and better exclusives! Just accept it.
i don't hate the ps3, i actually plan on buying one, you just didn't mention the games that the 360 has to offer, like Gears of War, Mass effect, Halo 3 and bioshock, i actually wanted the ps3 60 gig version becasue it has full backward compatibility, but they took that out of the new ones, just make sure next time you can defend your position

Don't agree with you about GH3 being too easy, you wouldn't be happy hitting a brick wall in the first or second tier IMO. Fair points about the battles and lack of changes to the formula though... Can't see Rock Band appealing to me, too expensive for a game, I could buy some new sequencing software for that amount of cash! :)

Tobin, Instead of assuming that the PS3 has no games worth playing. Why don't you make it fair and get games thats on multi platform such as COD4, assassin creed, etc.. on the PS3 instead of the 360 and you'll see that there are games thats worth playing. It seem to me u r just getting games for the 360, of course your PS3 won't have games.
For cross platform games, the 360 has a few things going for it. Achievements, a bigger online audience to play against, and more often than not, the games look better since the development started on the 360. This may change once PS3 has home and sells more consoles this year, but for now it's a tough sell to play a cross platform game on PS3.
I agree with some of your points, but if this noobtoob is a reviewing site shouldn't they be a bit fairer and not just completely ignore a platform just because it does not have much exclusives. I am sure if it was the other way round you would do the same for the 360.
Not too sure what you mean by cross platform? Do you mean playing the same game with people that have different systems, e.g. 360 with PS3? If so do they really allow that? Because I have seen games such as Fight night round 3, COD4 would not allow cross platform (360 with PS3). I guess it a MS & Sony thing. Only game I heard that allow any cross platform is UT3. PS3 players allow to compete with PC players. Then again this is what I heard from a friend so it could be full of crap.

Well, by that argument, since I had to sign a two year contract with AT&T, at $65/mo, and the phone is $400, it costs $1960 in the US. But that's a bad argument.

Too sad you guys don't enjoy Warhawk.This is one of the best multiplayer game this year alone with R6V,Orange Box and COD4.

Yeah, I really wanted to like it since it's one of the few hard core multiplayer games on the PS3, but the controls didn't feel right to me. Ah well, at least CoD4 is on the console as well.

Tobin, Instead of assuming that the PS3 has no games worth playing. Why don't you make it fair and get games thats on multi platform such as COD4, assassin creed, etc.. on the PS3 instead of the 360 and you'll see that there are games thats worth playing. It seem to me u r just getting games for the 360, of course your PS3 won't have games.

Why would you get those games for PS3 rather than for the 360. Thats like saying: I rather buy Halo 3 for Dreamcast then for 360.

For cross platform games, the 360 has a few things going for it. Achievements, a bigger online audience to play against, and more often than not, the games look better since the development started on the 360. This may change once PS3 has home and sells more consoles this year, but for now it's a tough sell to play a cross platform game on PS3.

I agree with some of your points, but if this noobtoob is a reviewing site shouldn't they be a bit fairer and not just completely ignore a platform just because it does not have much exclusives. I am sure if it was the other way round you would do the same for the 360.

Not too sure what you mean by cross platform? Do you mean playing the same game with people that have different systems, e.g. 360 with PS3? If so do they really allow that? Because I have seen games such as Fight night round 3, COD4 would not allow cross platform (360 with PS3). I guess it a MS & Sony thing. Only game I heard that allow any cross platform is UT3. PS3 players allow to compete with PC players. Then again this is what I heard from a friend so it could be full of crap.

i just heard rock band packs are gonna be like a dollar fifty cheaper and you also have the option of downloading songs individually unlike guitar hero. just thought id say something cause you guys were talking about how guitar hero screws people over.
