@RunningWildVidya Well...uh to put this politely RunningWild. SNK is just trying to survive in a tough video game business world. They can't solely survive on their KOF, FF or Samurai Spirits forever. They need to appeal to a wider variety of gamers. SNK Playmore is a company that is full pride, but not full of money :'-( Trust me, if SNK didn't make Pachislot games or dating cellphone games then they wouldn't have enough money to make King of Fighters XIII. Think about what I just wrote.
@RunningWildVidya Pachislots are very popular in Japan it would make sense SNK would make Pachislot games. SNK does make a bit money just from those machines, you know.

I know that you don't care for the pachislot, but what can SNK do to get recognized and thrive like they did in the 90's? If they can't sell fighters then they might as well make money off of slots. SNK games are shadowed by Capcom and Namco's fighters and non-fighter games. Former- SNK fans have abandoned the company, but not me. I will always support SNK.
@starliteskies They could ya know, re-release more classic Neo-Geo and other games they have made over the last two decades on PSN, XBL and Wii? They've been really slow with updating the Neo-Geo Station on PSN. They only just now added a few new games, which there haven't been any since December. They need to get on the ball. They have a huge library of games of all genres.

They do have have a lot games in different genres, but sadly the problem is that they aren't very popular :'-( The SNK games that people have been really familiar from my experience are Samurai Spirits, King of Fighters, Fatal Fury, Art of Fighting and Metal Slug. Some people are not interested in old games like Psycho Soldier, Ikari Warriors and etc. This may be irrelevant, but I wished they released KOF MI Regulation A in other countries. i'm still loyal to the old SNK games and wish they can tranform their games to the 3d world just like Street fighter did and succeeded, along with the amazing success of the new mortal Kombat which also had the same problems SNK had but made it safe finaly

Please be respectful of Haohmaru's and Nakoruru's costumes.The costumes that they are wearing are Ainu clothing. Maybe they aren't super accurate, but they are based off of the beautiful Ainu clothes. There are some Ainu clothes that have fur, but of them on internet are rare, the fur clothes that is. Adding to this, Ainu are indigenous people of Hokkaido,Japan. For the record Nakoruru isn't exactly Japanese,but she's Ainu. The Ainu are interesting so read about them,OK. Also Shiki looks regal.
@starliteskies I thought Nakoruru was an environmentalist and not the type to wear fur clothing, since that involves butchering animals and she is all about saving nature and wildlife? Haohmaru isn't ainu, he's supposed to be a badass samurai. That fur looks ridiculous on him.

Some SNK designers have different views and interpretations on certain characters. If you look in a lot of official art, Nakoruru seems either serious, cute or calm. I like Shiki's old costume,too. Wow. This is the first time I seen the Samurai Showdown series go under a different style. They kept the continuity in though. And why is Kazuki a blonde in this? lol Not to mention his clothes being yellow as well. XD
thanks for the awesome upload. I really like the animation style, it's at the right level of cartoony-ness and realistic-ness. SNK always does good. I love the Samurai Spirits/Shodown series. This game defined and paved the path to other swordplay/weapon based fighting games like Bushido Blade, Star Gladiator and Soul Blade/Calibur. Lastly, I know this isn't SS related, but it is SNK related so anyways if any of you love Ash Crimson check out my channel for my animated tribute for him :-)

no company could ever make suck a cool characters like Iori, K' , Hoahmaru , Genjuro , Takuma Sakazaki , Rugal Berinstein and many others :)
plus the old SNK games had a beautiful atmosphere to them unparalleled by any other games too
till now, i sometimes play Art of fighting 1 and 2 and Samurai Shodown 1,Kof 96
just hope SNK can rise again and realize what made them realy awesome back in the days
