@yourmotheris19 Time To Pretend, Kids, and especially Electric Feel are pretty "dancey"...What have you only heard their second record Congratulations or something? That album is definitely coming from a different place. So since the bands inception I'd say, their early demo stuff is straight up laptop club kid shit. Overall they've definitely got the Funk.

yeah, I don't mean dancey as in "can be danced to"...more like MGMT has a certain more-mainstream groove. Ratatat's groove is definitely not as mainstream and it's a bit more chaotic and subtle. you gotta listen to a lot of Ratatat to find the method under the madness.
