  • why why why the cut is at this time !!!! :'(

  • So good, I'm just about 'm just about, 'm just about loose my mind

  • there is god, then there is roy.

  • MASTER OF TELECASTER

  • the best ever

  • 4:00 :OMG fuckin sickk

  • There are a few songs on youtube called Roys blues but this is the real royz blues.

BEST GUITARIST OF ALL TIME.. R.I.P Buchanan

  • I'm LOVING Blues!

  • There are 3 Kings and Roy Buchanan !

  • roy´s the cause i play a telecaster

  • A quote from Eric Clapton "Roy Buchanan is the only man alive who can make a guitar cry" -

  • clapton knew him? cool. where did you read that?

  • Did Clapton never hear Peter Green play a guitar?

  • Tommy - I dont know if Clapton ever heard Peter Green, but I do know this Roy could play and Clapton gave him his propers, remember now Roy did not use stomp boxes a claim that very few players today can make - Juiceman

  • "Roy did not use stomp boxes" except of course when he used a delay pedal ...

  • Peter green replaced clapton on John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers in 1966 ! !

  • 4:15 is like a violin!

  • torture is the proper word. i too was introduced to roy via the live stock version of this song. it literally changed my approach to the guitar. what the hell were you thinking roy??? rip

  • we will never know what he was thinking. thanks roy. RIP

  • Add another vote from me for hearing the "Live Stock" version of this song, the one that induced me to go out and buy his CDs. It's *totally* different; both are good though. There are a few things on that version that blew me away and still do. Incredible player. He could torture notes out of a guitar that nobody else would have ever thought to imagine.

  • other people can make a guitar cry, he could make the guitar screem so loud that you would think the guitar was having the blues. so torture is a good word

  • still the man after all this time!!!

  • Livestock is Theeee Album. it is a must buy-Roy at his VERY best!!

  • i bought livestock in 1980, 14 years when i really started practicing the guitar. i very clearly remember being mesmerized by roy´s playing. i simply fell in love with thoe violin swells, those screams tele bridge pickup bendings. roy, one of my major influences.he was too good.

  • Gatton got a lot fron Roy, but I like Gatton the best. Roy is one of the greatest ever. Keep listening to him---he sneaks up on you.

  • Roy master guitar player, but "HORRIBLE"...vocalist! Roy's voice was always weak and distracting. I really liked Charlie Daniels as vocalist,..as well Dilbert Mcclinton.

  • livestock is a must have guitar album "roy's bluz" is stunning

  • A true original master. More versatile than Hendrix or any of the EVH/G3 clones out today. His invention and touch were immaculate.

  • Anymore live vids of this...?

  • R.I.P. roy your one of the best blues player...thanks for posting this.

  • My favorite Roy Buchanan song!

(lee32Uk..I think you could have uploaded it as one file youtube accepts videos up to 10:59 seconds...just that you know if you want to upload something long again. thanks!)

  • Damn. This guy knows how to embody some damn eerie, soulful sounds in his guitar. Amazing.

  • Buy Livestock, $7.99 will change your life!

  • hehe, just listening to it right now.

  • Yeah it's good, though I don't like the other vocalist.

  • WOW!

(this should be released in the shops)

  • You can hear a great version of this song on Roys Livestock Album.

  • @stereosign what in god's name are people smoking? R.B is not that good! he's not bad, but he's nothing compared to any other great blues musician. i just don't get it. oh well to each his own....

  • @washmachine yahh watch part 2

  • TONE MONSTER---plus the man could pick!

  • Oh jeez, Roy had a knack for excellent tones, just superb playing! Thanx for the vid

    snaker

  • Wow. Tremendous. The chord progressions and scales he's using are just absolutely soul soothing. Roy's tone & technique was simply brilliant. Another one that has left us way too soon.

  • Wonderful. What a brilliant player always, but also such delicious tone. I saw him at the Crossroads in Bladensburg, MD in the early 70s. One of the highlights of my life.

  • I would see him any chance I could, but most always at Jonathan Swift's in Cambridge Ma. I'd wait up to an hour before the show, sometimes longer, just to be able to sit at a table in front of the stage. He was one of a kind and certainly a gifted artist, it's a shame there aren't any commercially available vids to be had
