If you charge the supercapacitors get the battery out and don't turn on the LED's, how long does it take for the capacitors to discharge? Longer than 12 hours?
@Curixq - Yes, longer than 12 hours. The super caps (at least the ones I have) will drain to about 80% of their capacity quickly (within 20 minutes). After that, though, they drain (without a load) much slower. They definitely maintain over 50% charge after 12 hours.
