the game teaches u something, thats true. but i would never join the army and throw my life away for things like the war on iraq. Shame on you mr. bush. the real army shure isnt as funny as the game.
Some of us wish to be in the forces is what i meant and i also meant that i am one of those people. You may have your values but i have others so do many people.

Let's be honest here (referring to some comments not the video) most video games (although I would classify most as neutral in terms of whether they do any good or bad) aren't like AA which is fairly unique in being designed specifically to equally educate and entertain (there are others but they are often lacking the pizazz of AA & in the fun dept.)
I'm an avid gamer & I think it would be good if there were more games like AA with real-world positive implications.
Although the AA Medical Training does include extensive details in many areas of life saving and sustaining principals on the battlefield, the actual game uses these techniques in a very abbreviated manner by 'prioritizing' the extent of injury by degee of severity. The Medic's actual function is to reach these wounded soldiers and 'Heal' them with a simple keypress. This does not detract from the fact that the actual training can be implemented in realtime, as has been proven in this video.
When I was at CLS school at AIT they told us NOT TO USE our CLS training at a crash scene!
It came down to liability on our part. Basically they said, "If you use this and screw up or hurt someone, you could be liable and they could sue you."
Wouldn't stop me from putting a tourniquet on someone or hold a pressure point to stop bleeding. If they lived because of of the CLS training I have in real life then Hooah!

not impressed...Severed fingers are not lethal unless you're laying around for several days, and neither is a scratch in the head. While I think it's a good thing that AA get's positive press I don't see the in-game training as a life line in a real life-threatening situation.
He needs to play Trauma Center. lol.

i, personally, like to see my tax money go into recruitment strategies supporting the sanctioned use of armed forces in pursuit of policy objectives.

So what? You may think that it wasn't lethal but he prevented them from even more harm. Blood poisoning, blood loss etc.
