Kylie,Madonna,Beyonce and others have done it! The mic could've been turned off due to interfearence/sound issues. She does sing live, but just not "enough" according to the public. She sang 3 numbers of her tour live in 2009. I know that's not a lot, but what people don't seem to understand is, her choreography and dance routines are pretty major. They are very fast paced, energetic and have to be very slick. I think anyone knows that no one could move like Britney, sing at the same time and sound decent while dancing as fast as she is. Britney does make up for miming. Her shows are magical.

@LEGENDPURGE She actually wasn't miming though. :/ She sings with the help of a backing track. Most artists(with dance tracks in particular) use the backing track to help them. Kylie,Madonna,Beyonce and others have done it! The mic could've been turned off due to interfearence/sound issues. But at the end of the day, what is the point of coming to watch one of her videos to purposefully critise her? That's just stupid.

Gaga is loved by everyone including you Britney stans because everyone can relate to her. Gaga is a self-confessed outcast, wierd-at-highschool and all of us teenagers / young adults like myself (21-yrs old) can relate to feeling that way.
I agree that some if not many of her outfits are crazy and stupid but what she stands for and what she is about is meaningful and amazing. I like Gaga because she is very smart, creative and has a lot of creative freedom that other aritsts dont have.

Britney's last album sold 4.5 million copies. I don't think Brit's new album will sell 20 million copies, I think she'll sell 3million-5million and maybe 6/7 million at the most. Illegal downloading and file-sharing is having a huge impact on everyone, Britney and Gaga included. I think Brit is one of the best dancers / performers in the world and she might be not be a good singer (when she always lip-synchs) but I do think Gaga is a much better singer (when singing live) and Gaga is catching up

Artists like Christina and Katy Perry aren't selling as much as they SHOULD be selling because 2010 isn't a good year for female pop artists. I don't think Lady Gaga is better than Madonna or Michael Jackson. I think Lady Gaga is my generation's Madonna / Britney Spears. What I do think, is if Lady Gaga was around back then when Madonna and Britney was selling 20-25 millions albums per new album released, Gaga would probably have sold millions more albums than she is selling right now.

She does sing live, but just not "enough" according to the public. She sang 3 numbers of her tour live in 2009. I know that's not a lot, but what people don't seem to understand is, her choreography and dance routines are pretty major. They are very fast paced, energetic and have to be very slick. I think anyone knows that no one could move like Britney, sing at the same time and sound decent while dancing as fast as she is. Britney does make up for miming. Her shows are magical.

The difference between Britney and Lady Gaga is that when Britney had her first album which sold 25 million copies, there was no such thing as illegal downloading and file-sharing.
For a debut artist like Lady Gaga to have her first album sell 5 million copies (at the time) in this day and age, it's fantastic. If Britney released her debut album now, it wouldnt have done so well.
Lady Gaga used a robotic / electric voice in the verses of poker face but in the choruses its her own singing

@thechartzz not that its evidence whether someone lip syncs or not (which she did, she admitted herself) but her mic was turn on when she was speaking, you could hear her clearly when she answered the first question, then he put the mic in front of her (which is a habit most presenters have)

Gaga wrote every one of hers, with other input only from the Producer (sometimes not even them), Britney co-wrote about 1 song per album. If you don't believe me, I can link it all to you, and you're gonna look stupid.

Jive NEVER lets Britney release "HER" songs, Because they are much more soulful/meaningful tunes like: To Love (Let Go) Little Me, Rebellion, Baby boy, Mona Lisa (to mention a few) Britney has 45+ songs since 2003 that she has hand-written herself. It was announced that Britney has sold over 100 million (130 says many billboard insiders)

The only possible way for Beyonce to sell more was between the years of late 2004 - early 2007 when Britney was taking care of her kids and family.
