  • CRC, and if that's not fast enough, add a bit of jig-a-loo

  • i have found that a combination of hand soap candle wax and petroleum jelly works the best for me. i use a thicker version for the 3x3 and a thinner version for the 5x5.

  • i use crc heavy dudy silicone spray

  • I use Traxxas 50K weight differential oil (it's basically Lubix). It's amazing!

  • Heavy duty crc

  • D39 just take a piece and spray it because with this lube it works better than disassembling the cube

    and maru

  • i use crc but it smells horrible please help!!!

  • crc all the way

  • CRC multilube

  • jig a loo and crc

  • MARU!!!!!

  • @pclark531 No. Maru SUCKS. Lubix, Diff Oil, Shock Oil or CRC-FG.

  • i use some crappy silicone spray i got at walmart, it slows down the cube alot.. i put it in the core and my guhong hasn't recovered. gota buy a new one or put up with a slower than normal cube... :(

  • Jigaloo

  • I use CRC

  • man he has so much lube

  • you forgot maru lube and lubix

  • i perfer crc ....mostly because you can buy it straight from walmart.

  • I use prestone high viscosity formula Sillicone spray

  • I use blasterz silicone. Check It out and please tell me if it's better or worse than Those

  • @coolster01 B'Lasters from Home Depot?

Dude, that just makes your pieces HORRIBLE.

I bought it because I couldn't find CRC, but when I applied it, it made the pieces more stick/gunky and gave the cube a BAD feeling.

Lucky i used it on my rubik's cube...

  • the lightake one is Ghost Hand

  • Is CRC toxic or something.... Really need to know TELL ME!!!! please.

  • @TheStackaMan na...just dont drink or sumthing lol,but it will make ur cube smell a little bit.

  • I use gasoline :p smells good

Actually crc, easiest to obtain in finland!

  • Comment removed

  • I use a random silicone spray...

  • your a hardcore tweaker aren't you.....

  • No, don't got lube :(

  • Jig a loo spray 2 squirt in 4 corners

  • hey, where do you think I can get CRC in Canada? if you don't know, could you list it on eBay so that I can buy it? lol

  • i use crc, come check out my video on it. And the way i apply it depends on the amount of time i have, if i am in a hurry to go somewhere, then i just spray it in, but if i have time then i take the pieces off and sweep spray. and i use crc or all my cubes because its cheap and is available at most places.

  • i got 33.52 seconds (my fastest time) with patrolim jelly on it xD lol

  • somebody tell me what to use i just bought jig a loo but it was random

  • Do these work my penis as well :L!

  • maru lube. always

  • Defffff ky for cock and cube

  • i use crc

  • i use jig a loo . i hate how silicone makes yourcubeslow at first thats why i dont use it

  • Do u guys still make vids

  • how often you lube?

  • What about Meffert's puzzle lube?

  • KY.

  • crc shock oil and maru are those i use.

  • lubix blows away every lubrcant i ever used. LUBE THE CORE!!! seriosly though, lubix is the best! :D

  • @Mrstreetballer97 AGREED BY FAR!!

  • @Mrstreetballer97 Use 50KW Differential Oil from either Ofna or Traxxas brands. They're the EXACT same viscosity and type of silicone as Lubix. I got 50ccs for $5 off Amazon. Seriously. Don't pay through the roof just because Lubix has a fancy tagline.

  • I use CRC when I feel the need for it. Two sprays at opposite edges. Though I've been curious about that mysterious white residue on the pieces.

  • can i have your lubricant you bought from lightake?

I consider using jig a loo ,lubix, and crc.

  • lubix for 3x3 and only 3x3s

    crc for eastsheen

maru for maru 4x4, yj 5x5, and gigaminx

and jigallo for everything else i own

  • i like crc and lubix

  • i use jigaloo, but i put it on disassembled, and let it sit under a fan until it's totally dried (like, completely not gooey anymore), 1 maybe 2 days, before putting it back together. the theory is that jigaloo is supposed to be dry. It's awesome, try it.

  • I use CRC but I notice that it eats my black plastic after a while. I recently started using maru lube and it's amazing but if you leave your cube that's below room temperature the lube wears off pretty quickly.

  • lubix cube + guhong = god cube

  • @BoozeHelps True dat

  • I've used Jig-a-Loo on all my cubes in the past, but I now have Lubix. I've only used it on the Guhong (which I hated when I got it.) I lubed the core, the screws, and the washers. I'm now over 1 second faster with it on average over my formerly beloved FII with Jig-a-Loo in less than a week! Thank you Donovan!!! I guess I'll use Jig-a-Loo for my household creaks and squeeks!

  • i use butt lube.

  • i use jizz

  • @doody12 ahh does it leave a nice coating when it dries?

  • What happened to 5 awesome cubers???

  • even if you lost your maru lube you still could have said what you think of it. i recently got some and are scared to use it and your consent would have made me much happier.

  • @Sharkbait173 - Dude, why are you afraid to use Maru lube?? It's absolutely the BEST lube for most cubes, it just wears off quickly, that's all.

  • I used CRC for awhile, now Jig a loo only. Works great in FII's and Edisons. I use the BadMephisto method of spraying each piece in 2 sweeps. They are all good and better than vaseline, for sure.

  • I use CRC

  • I spray CRC about 2 times into all my cubes.

  • I use CRC

  • there all lubes who gives a fuck?

  • @cabageroller lmao

  • I would use CRC, but I ran out. But I mainly use maru lube, or jiggy. :P

  • why are you the only one posting videos on this channel these days :|

  • Would 5ac like to collab with me? i make great special effect videos, we can upload it to your channel! it would be your best edited video ever!

  • I use jig a loo. Usually I take out an edge piece and spray into it twice. Can't use too much or jig a loo will have negative effects on your cube!

  • Jig-a-loo.

  • None are good I use lubix and Maru lube

  • I'm a big fan of Lubix! ( I lube the core and put a dab on an edge piece and pop it back in)

  • I'm a big fan of Lubix!

  • I use Jig-A-Loo =3

    It does the job ;)

  • The silicone is called a Ghost Hand silicone spray. You can see the orange chinese letters (which is the logo, btw). I use Jig-a-loo mixed with Maru lube. If I had any, I would prefer lubix lube.

  • Btw, the silicone spray that you don't know what it is, it's called a Ghost Hand. You can see the ghost hand logo on it (The orange letters). I never knew it until I saw ur video. So yeah, that's a Ghost Hand Silicone spray.

  • Jigaloo and lubix combined.

  • Everybody: the Maru lube they sell on lightake is a fake. Maru is epic tho. You gotta try it

  • @MrStinkocheeze sku.30084 is not Maru lube (Diansheng IIRC). sku.30344 seems legitimate.

  • @Unksoul Hm. It feels very different than the maru lube that came with my maru 3x3 tho.. anyways. It's still pretty good

  • Lightake actually shipped silicone spray? o_O I presumed it wouldn't get shipped because it's an aerosol can; now I'll have to buy the ProStaff lube with my next order.

I've used CRC Heavy Duty, Jig-a-loo, and 20wt shock oil. I don't like the feel of shock oil. Both CRC and Jig-a-loo feel nice, but I prefer Jig-a-loo. I apply silicone spray by taking the straw and cutting it so it fits under the cap, then either take pieces out or cut a corner and spray it in.

  • @Unksoul Yes, and the silicone spray is a ghost hand.

  • jig-a-loo :) works great!

  • I use heavy duty silcone

  • @Guinepigsrock crc last for ever I never run out of the bottle

  • i use jig a loo anf maru lube i only use maru lube on fast cubes, im ganna get lubix though soon

  • Which one is good for a fat bitch?

  • LUBIX......... <3

  • I dont loob cyoobs.

  • i could only find Jig-a-loo at my local menards.. walmart didnt have shit.

  • Take all the pieces and spray them individually with CRC, spray one side wait 10 minutes, spray the other wait 10 minutes, and spray the third side wait for about an 1 hour to dry.

  • The only one I've used is CRC, and I'm fairly pleased with it. I do, however, find that it doesn't do much for my big cubes.

  • Personally, I only have Jig and CRC. I use CRC for certain puzzles, like to loosen up a Rubik's 5x5 or in a non-speedcube. I use Jig-A-Loo in all of my somewhat main 3x3 puzzles. I find both lubricants to have an easy application and a good overall effect. For application, I take out opposite corners (of a 3x3) and spray once in each. --R

  • Jig-A-Loo here

  • i use green industrial crc too. that is the best lubricant you can use.

  • different lube for different cube

  • silicone spray here.

  • i use jigaloo

  • i use CRC

  • I use CRC silicone.

Also a question, my youtube now seems bigger... my computer, or is it a youtube update?

  • @Riley0143rsj youtube updated :p

  • @Everythingrubiks5 Thanks. :P

  • I just got some Prostaff D39 from Lightake (The orange one), it's what Haiyan uses in his store and also what F2's come pre-lubed with. I had a quick squirt in my F2 and it felt great, didn't have the gummy feel that everything else I've tried has had.

  • @BluePi1313 I know esquimalt's is the Ghost Hand silicone spray. After seeing @Godmil's comment, I am going to get the Prostaff over the Ghost Hand lube.

  • Jig-A-Loo and Maru for me. I tried a 100% silicone spray and it just made the cube seize up and I could never work it in enough to make it smooth.

  • i used a lube i got w/ my v-cube set im not sure what kind it is but i only use it in my 3x3s and for applying i take an edge out spray some in and work it iin for about my 5min

  • I use lubix and jig-a-loo, and i only use shock oil when my cube becomes to fast.

  • Gee, since I haven't gotten my colored Gu Hong in the mail, yet, I have to look at yours. I also ordered 2 more cubes from lightake 4 days ago, and they still haven't shipped them. I'm getting really pissed off. How long did it take you to get your cube from them?

  • @xxoxia lolwut. dude chill. 4 days is NOTHING. Get it cheaper at lightake and wait or get it from more expensive sites and don't wait.

  • vaseline forever! so underrated. in my v-cube 5 and im banging out those sub-1:25s and banging out sub9s on the 3x3. =)

  • @jsn1der - Vaseline is really bad for plastic. That's why no one uses it. Silicone is safe.

  • i use shock oil for 2x2, jig-a-loo and shock oil for 3x3 and maru and shock oil for big cubes

  • @mandudeguy22 dayan guhong colored cube

if speedcubeshop is out of stock, g oto magic-puzzle-cube . com

and if u do get this cube, use lubix, i used it on my colored guhong and omg its just the perfect cube now, and lube the core and the screws too

  • what cube is that? i want one that doesnt have stickers.

  • I use WD 40 it works pretty well but it's kinda like maru lube it only works sometimes

  • @Grayhams11 -HAHAHAA, WD 40 is REALLY BAD for cubes and plastic. You should clean it right away.

  • @xxoxia but i don't have any other lube :(

  • @Grayhams11 - You're actually better off with no lube, or cooking oil than WD 40.

  • @xxoxia wow, k thnx bai

  • @Grayhams11 - Dude, I was just trying to be helpful. Don't be a fucking smart ass with me.

  • @xxoxia i am sorry, i wasn't trying to be a smart ass, the "wow" was how surprised i was from know that cooking oil is bettter then WD 40

  • @Grayhams11 - Ahhh ok. Sorry for taking that the wrong way. It's hard to tell over text. Actually, badmephisto recommended that in one of his videos. He said he tried vegetable oil once because he had no silicone, and it worked but it was really runny.

  • @xxoxia Yeah it's okay, so immeh clean out my cube and get some vegetable oil >:D

  • i use crc because it's the only one i have

  • I use Jig-a-loo and sometimes maru lube but I don't have any other lubricants. I'm getting Lubix soon.

  • i use CRC

  • i use maru lubricant for 3x3 and white cubes and svitol technik for every other cube..

Maru lubricants to be honest works very well.. Expecially on white plastic :3

  • Shockoil the lube of the gods! (Rowe Hessler)

  • i use cyclo slicone spray...

i remove one piece then i just spray a very small amount of lubricant

  • i use basic silicon that my mom us to smooth her walker

  • Regarding Lubix: It is not similar, it is EXACTLY the same as shockoils are - it just differs in viscosity and beeing so, is just a BIG waste of money. Buy thicker shockoil and your fine - for less money.

  • hungarian speed cube silikon spray and maru lube :D

  • @leandrobaltazar2407 Was genau soll denn "hungarian speed cube silikon spray" sein?

  • @dummerbube das gabs auf den german open und dutch open zu kaufen. ist ein ungarer, der das spray verkauft.

  • The lube you got from lightake - it was the wrong one. You should have tkaen the other one. THAT then is the one Haiyan uses. From what he says the best lube you can get.

  • @dummerbube , the "profesinnial magic cube" lube?

  • @cube7876 Yes, the "Professional Magic Cube Lubricant (420ml)" - but don't ask me what its real name is, I would have to search for it first in my chat-history. And I am not sure, but I think it was an lubricant based on fossil-oil (but not sure any more). Howsoever: I once gave me cubes lubed with that and they were great.

  • @dummerbube yeah you're right, i heard something about the lube haiyan uses it, turns out it's not that one lol

  • @esquimalt1 ;-)

  • Jigaloo's great. Says on the side that it causes Cancer in California though. Alls I say to that is, I'm glad I don't live in California xD

  • @123IOWNALL321 Yeah - as long as your not in California, everything should be fine. Maby even get better the farer one is away from Cali - who knows...

  • w5 anyone?

  • crc, back in the day? yeah, it was popular like 3 years ago, i dint know about it anymore though. i still use it for everyday stuff. (i dont cube anymore)

  • oh and i just pop an edge.

  • All I have is ccr. Works best if ya do a fast sramble.

  • where did u get CRC? i can't find it you live in vancouver or toronto?

  • @davidgreece1 wal mart?

  • @davidgreece1 i live in victoria, i actually found it at a hardware store called capital iron

  • I posted that comment before the end of the video. haha

To answer your questions at the end. When I lube my cubes I just pop an edge piece and spray it in. I work it in for 5-10 minutes. Also, I re-lube my cubes after a little over a month or so.

  • @avgdi I actually don't like maru, should have mentioned it but i forgot. It makes the cube amazing but after 20 solves the lube wears out

  • I use CRC because that's all I can find. I've been looking for Jig-a-Loo, but none of the stores around here carry it. I still want to find some, and I really want to get Maru Lube because I hears it's really good.

  • I use a strange brand of Silicone and I usually take an edge out

  • Lol, I was like ok so who did this video?? After a few seconds I was like ahh.

  • i use CRC

  • omglieknowaifereal?
