You got some talent there! Though 'Throw a brick' does have connotations of violent protest, which is just what the authorities want. Peaceful no-violent protest is the best way so great talent thou thumbs down for song....peace!
i feel regretful that i didn't put this song accros the way i wanted to.
The song is metaphorical. i'm not a protestor, i'm just speaking about the need for a strong opposition and my respect for the resistance! i've never thrown a brick and i never will.
"When we're screaming [and shouting in London Town] - and they're shooting at anything that moves"
Really ? You want to be actually shot at, it's truly terrifying, but it really doesn't happen in 'London Town'.
What's emblematic about this song is that it's a song about protest, not about causes, surface over content, which is reflective of the whole Occupy movement, the fetishisation of process over cause.
@smallblueclouds thanks for the feedback - like i always say, any feedback is good feedback to me :)
i do over dramatise things, i am middle class and i'm not perfect.
I'm NOT an anarchist, if you want to know more about me and my politics, there'es a interview you can read - art transforms the system (link on my channel under about me)
@smallblueclouds You call a prioritization of process over cause a fetish in an attempt to belittle it, probably on a sub conscious level, to try and prevent a conflict of interests in your self, because you like to believe that you are logical and if you can keep things clear in your head you feel satisfied.
Everything exists as part of something else. No light without dark, no heat without cold. If you become obsessed with causes you will get stuck in an analytically infinite loop.
Eventhough you are middle-class you are still entitled to express your views. You're very cute, do you have girl/boyfriend?

Nice voice and playing though.

My comment ("middle class lifestyle anarchism") is a broad criticism of the whole 'Occupy' movement rather than you per se.

@smallblueclouds Spot on, reminds me of Frank Turner, the musics great, but the politics just annoy me.

Agreed, lovely music + vacuous politics = lovely music.

> "You call a prioritization of process over cause a fetish"
Yes, the actual goals of Occupy seem secondary (or even arbitrary) - the focus seems to be on the ritual of protest.
> "you like to believe that you are logical and if you can keep things clear in your head you feel satisfied"
Agreed, that's right.
> "If you become obsessed with causes you will get stuck in an analytically infinite loop"
Nonsense, defining and pursuing a cause is not some metaphysical conundrum.
