hey i have a question . your stock transmission is 1-N-2-3-4. Can u put it in order N-1-2-3-4 beacause my 2nd gear is slipping and sometimes i wont find the neutral gear i'm tipping and tapping 15 minutes sometimes to find the neutral to start the bike can you help me ?
whats the best thing i can do to my 50 for more speed? right now i have a pitboss racing 88 big bore and 20 mm carb and stock gearing. i have an extra china 125 clutch 4 gear motor laying around and a china 70 motor. ive herad of putting a 70 crank in a 50 bottom end
actually gears can slip, if the shift fork is burnt from engine temperatures from being too high or bent that could cause the gears not to mesh properly... or even not go into gear at all
Excellent video that will help me a lot. Thanks very much for creating and posting the vid. My engine is also a Z50R 1984 for so this is a perfect lesson for me.

and u shouldn't use the same cir-clips and snap-rings that u un installed because they wear and warp unnoticed

Make sure the gears have all the teeth. Make sure the shift drum isn't scratched. Make sure the fork isn't floppy or bent.

hey do you no how you would go about fixing a slipping 2nd gear

Clutch is probably slipping. Gears don't slip. Adjust it. If that doesn't fix it, you need new plates and maybe springs also.
