As I understand it, it would have allowed the legal guardian of the unsuccessfully aborted baby to civilly seek damages against the care-giver for neglecting the child at the behest of the mother. Care provider has duty of care to mother. It's a tort action where the care provider breached his newly formed duty of care to the baby, formed the moment the baby separated from mother. I'm a CA attorney, so this is merely my interpretation of the IL bill.

I read the exact language of the bill. As I understand it, it would have allowed the legal guardian of the unsuccessfully aborted baby to civilly seek damages against the care-giver for neglecting the child at the behest of the mother. Care provider has duty of care to mother. It's a tort action where the care provider breached his newly formed duty of care to the baby, formed the moment the baby separated from mother. I'm a CA attorney, so this is merely my interpretation of the IL bill.

I like this video because it shows that both candidates gave really good answers. It shows that it's a tough choice instead of bashing either one of them. This video represented a non partisan type of approach. Thumbs up in my opinion.

This is the same thing as calling George W a conservative when he is a bleeding heart liberal.

-So its OK to kill innocent men , women and children in war.
-Its not OK to end a pregnant woman carrying a fetus(not a baby). Since America is supposedly has religious freedom and different religions believe life begins at different times! Catholics believe its in the semen, should we make it illegal to mastubate and orgasm?

You need to consider the other side. Most Democrats are pro choice yet they don't support the death penalty. So it's OK to support partial birth abortion yet not OK to kill a convicted killer? Seems a little contradictory to me. I think being middle road is the best tactic.

Republicans are not pro war. No sane person is pro war. Yet sometimes war is an unfortunate necesity. Sometimes it prevents bigger disastors down the road. Apeasement doesn't work(See: WWII)
