you dont use rubber malets on a marimba. u use yarn and to get a sound like tht u use a really hard yarn mallet. cuz usein a rubber mallet cood brake the marimba
Slow down a little and get the notes right. And you really need to work on your interpretation of the 6/8 section. It should feel subtle and complex, with the different rhythms layered over one another such that the listener can't quite tell if it's in 4, or 6, or maybe it's in 3, no wait, it's in 2! Instead your right hand is pounding away in 4 so that all subtlety is lost and it feels like a march.
when you play singly with your number 3 mallet, Going 1234 left to right, your outside mallet tends to bounch, you need to watch that, to make it in to a big marimba ensemble, you have to sound good (which you do) but all your technique has to be amazing as well.. hope you take this to heart, and really try at it.
This is really good! I really like the video effects too, like the changing colors. :] What song is that? And those are some awesome chops to be able to play that consistently for 8 minutes straight.

This is amazing, I'm just starting to learn how to play with 4 mallets, and I hope to one day be as good as you.
