My two favorite recent bands (I'm a prog fan) are The Mars Volta and Porcupine Tree... now when I'm looking up videos for TMV, I NEVER choose a live version, they're awful live because their music is ridiculously complex (Have you heard Wax Simulacra!?) Anyway, when I look up PT I almost always choose a live version. If TMV were still really around I would suggest hiring more musicians to cover their music like Steven Wilson does with John Wesley who is NOT a member of PT. :)
