The 11th has another season coming and then after that we'll see if there is still a Doctor at all.

I haven't actually seen them, so I may be wrong, but from what I've heard, there are episodes in the original Doctor Who, The Three Doctors and The Five Doctors, where past versions of the Doctor are called to help the current Doctor. Their memories of the events were erased somehow, so it may just be that the true Tenth Doctor will be the one helping. Never forget one of the key lines of the show: "Time can be rewritten." RTD had some great ideas but he'd run out of juice by "The End Of Time"; one of the worst episodes of DW in recent history and a far from fitting end for the great David Tennant. The Master being resurrected by magic and jumping around like a video game character? A bunch of old people in a bus? Alien technology which goes from one purpose to another as the plot demands? Awful.
@iammrmonkey you do have a point there. I remember being somewhat disappointed myself-I think EVERYONE expected him to die in a huge battle or something. I did not see it coming at all, but that was the beauty of it in the end. very brave of davies to do something so unexpected, and it kept it from being predictable. It was fitting too; the doctor would definitely sacrifice himself for one person he cared about. I was brought to tears. saving marthat etc in his last moments was cool too.
@shielakay Yes, one of the few things I actually liked about The End Of Time (aside from The Doctor's interactions with Wilf) was the nature of his actual demise. That the four knocks leading to his death turned out to simply be his friend knocking on a door and asking to be let out was a brilliant idea. Although I think his final scenes were dragged out too much, it was nice to see all of his companions and friends again.

All you people need to realise that David Tennant returning to Dr Who is a HUGE possibility. Evidence: Not including this clip, but 11min 28s in to A good man goes to war.

The Doctor doesn't need to have a clone of himself with a freshly grown TARDIS to find a crack in time and space. The Doctor has a history of bumping into himselves.... Time Crash, The Two Doctors, The Five Doctors, The Three Doctors... You see right there... :)

I haven't actually seen them, so I may be wrong, but from what I've heard, there are episodes in the original Doctor Who, The Three Doctors and The Five Doctors, where past versions of the Doctor are called to help the current Doctor. Their memories of the events were erased somehow, so it may just be that the true Tenth Doctor will be the one helping. Never forget one of the key lines of the show: "Time can be rewritten." Anyone feel like the universe is... off seasons 5 and 6?

@MileyCyrusFourEver Steven Moffat said he's retired them for a while, but it's Steven Moffat, so maybe this was a Red Herring. Don't get your hopes up, but at the same time keep in mind that it is possible for them to return.
Omega was a Time Lord from the Original "Classic" Series. I recommend that, if you're interested to learn more about him, you research him on the Doctor Who wiki (just type "Doctor Who wiki" into Google). He was quite an important Time Lord...

"one day we'll come back and put this one back in." if only-sigh. stephen moffat has totally ruined the show as far as i'm concerned. matt smith is fine (although i still love david more), but the writing sucks this season imo. i can tell exactly how they are going to end it (no imagination) and what they did with river song was the last straw-totally stupid. i find it very hard to believe that russell davies intended her storyline to turn out the way they wrote it this year.

@shielakay The writing sucks? Have you informed multi-award winning writer Neil Gaiman of this? He deserves to be told! It's also great that you can tell how they are going to end "it". Shame you didn't inform us all, but that's cool. We'll take you at your word.
Steven Moffat has totally rejuvenated the show. Russell T Davies was starting to run out of creative juice at the end, so thank God for Moffat and Matt Smith!

@shielakay And I gave you my opinion. Which I'm also entitled to. RTD had some great ideas but he'd run out of juice by "The End Of Time"; one of the worst episodes of DW in recent history and a far from fitting end for the great David Tennant. The Master being resurrected by magic and jumping around like a video game character? A bunch of old people in a bus? Alien technology which goes from one purpose to another as the plot demands? Awful.

@iammrmonkey you do have a point there. I remember being somewhat disappointed myself-I think EVERYONE expected him to die in a huge battle or something. I did not see it coming at all, but that was the beauty of it in the end. very brave of davies to do something so unexpected, and it kept it from being predictable. It was fitting too; the doctor would definitely sacrifice himself for one person he cared about. I was brought to tears. saving marthat etc in his last moments was cool too.

@shielakay Yes, one of the few things I actually liked about The End Of Time (aside from The Doctor's interactions with Wilf) was the nature of his actual demise. That the four knocks leading to his death turned out to simply be his friend knocking on a door and asking to be let out was a brilliant idea. Although I think his final scenes were dragged out too much, it was nice to see all of his companions and friends again.
