I hate to hear people talk about how they wont listen to a song because its old. I'm 17 years old and I still bump to Tribe, I hate the music played on the radio today. I tend to listen to things that have a tribe or an old feel to it. Man, kids dont know what their missing they're so caught up in the new shit that all the good stuff was back in the day! I was 2 yrs old when this song was made, damn i wish i had the oppurtunity to experience this kind of music. I still do with pandora but still.
This was a time when ''HIP HOP'' or simi rap had a point and a purpose, todays stuff is absolute garbage. And iam not saying that cuz iam 33yrs old, its just HIP HOP today is dead to me, and thats sad...
this is so sick, i remeber listening to this when i was on LSD and just thinkin how awesome the production is. Years later i find out its JayDee. Fuckin dope what an awesome trio

Why is it that modern mainstream hip-hop doesn't speak about politics? Old hip-hop was militant in nature. New hip-hop pacifies its listeners with complacancy and idiocy. @bigex2c Whites came into North America, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, and pillaged, raped and mutilated the indigenous peoples into non-existence. Ask yourself who came into Hip Hop's upper echelons in the mid-90s; if you delve deep enough you will find that the vast majority of rap labels are controlled tacitly by jewish executives. Good example of their dangerous tentacles: The Jewish Defence League almost openly extorted both Eazy E & Tupac throughout '94-'96, provided bodyguards, etc.
@TheHumanBallsack ...It's textbook protection racketeering - falsify a threat to the rapper, then provide bodyguards and intel whilst gaining unfettered access to their cash flow, thus extorting their funds. Look past the media bullshit, the mindless garbage on MTV, the usual arguments of "who killed hip hop"...and you will open up a whole smoke-and-mirrors scenario beyond most people's wildest imagination...

I'm sorry but this song will always and forever live the TRUE meaning of rap/hiphop unlike the bullshit that is played in this day and age. Praise Allah.
This reminds me of my first holiday without parents in Malgrat de Mar in 97 :) First clubbing on XTC in Disco QK and lateron chilling on the beach to this song...Life was good...
