It's funny he says the "vs" idea wouldn't work, because it DID work when they did the "Freddy vs Jason vs Ash" comic book, which was based on an actual screenplay they wrote as a possible sequel. It was a well-crafted story that believably sent Ash up against them, and I think it would have made a terrific film.

They're remaking "Evil Dead"? No way! I thought the musical was a ridiculous-enough idea, but hey, that's on stage. That's a different medium. DO NOT remake a classic like "Evil Dead"! Who's going to play Ash? Knowing Hollywood, they'll find some young actor who makes Ashton Kutcher look like Olivier. Bruce is, and will always be, the only Ash in my opinion.
