In the short term unemployment might increase, but the liquidation of failed businesses is necessary for a long-lasting increase in employment and an increased standard of living. Actually, 61% don't want any of the current versions of "health care reform" and no, 70plus% WERE NOT for the public option. Quite frankly, you can't count those who are on state aid currently~you can only look at those not on state aid that realize they'll be paying for it. Lastly, Olberman is a political pundit with 250,000 listeners/watchers ... compare that to Rush's 20million, Hannity's 12million, Bortz's 5 million and you can easily see who captures more attention with far great content!

CEOs will be okay, they have millions in their bank account. but the actual workers do not. moreover, many of them have actually invested their retirements in those companies. goodbye to that. and what about the other smaller comanies that depend on them. they go out of business too. congrats, your problem of unemployment has escalated

In the short term unemployment might increase, but the liquidation of failed businesses is necessary for a long-lasting increase in employment and an increased standard of living. Justifying long-term, mass unemployment as necessary for preventing a possible spike in unemployment doesn't really make much sense.
