  • John David Booty!!! OMG!

  • well i think ryan grice mullen is as good as anyother reciever that was in that draft class. very unkown though. now playing for houston i belive

  • Yea he didn't get drafted last i heard was he was playin in canada or somethin.

  • Not to say that it would change anyone's mind but graham harrel started 3 years straight up and a few more games.Colt brennen Played 2 seasons very close to 3, and in the georgia game i mean hey im a huge sec guy and georgia was very good that year and heck georgia figured out that they could rush 3 and still get pressure i mean they had 8 guys in coverage that was a tough game for colt.

  • didn't Harrel go undrafted? who picked him up?

  • @lukeo4321 Green Bay Packers. Harrel is a Super Bowl Champion now.

  • @lukeo4321 Green Bay Packers. Harrel is a Super Bowl champion now.

  • chang also holds the interception record brennan is better than harrel hands down

plus harrel had crabtree a beast ya we had good recievers but they were all under 6'1

  • Harrell's numbers are very suspicious. His completion is high but he doesn't throw deep ball. He does short passes that his receivers take downfield, thus doesn't have to read defense a lot for secondary. His arm strength is average at best. The system he plays is quarterback friendly and the Big XII is just set for any quarterback to put up huge number. I'm not saying that he isn't good, but we can't really know.

  • dabbott14, brennan didnt have the recievers harrell has. lol- oklahoma-65 tex.tech 21

  • Brennan banged up his hip and would have surgery later, that could have been a reason why he did not participate in many of the drills. He did a great job in the HOF game. Even though it was preseason he looked sharp.

  • He didn't participate in the 40. I think he only did the QB drills.

No vertical leap, no weigth lifting, etc.

  • what was colts 40 time

  • I don't know if any of you watched the sUGAr Bowl or not, but Colt was owned in that one. He played real competition, and he didn't have a chance.

  • His O-Line got owned...Makin it look like he got owned...Believe me dabbott it doesnt matter how great a QB is if his O-line played as bad as Hawaiis O-line played that day..He wouldnt be able to play good...Thats what happened...Joe Montana woouldve gotten owned if his O line played like that

  • His offensive line did not give him the time to make things happen. Any quarterback who doesn't have the protection will not look as good.

  • hey dog he had no time to throw the ball his linemen sucked in that game

  • haha his line played real competition. if you had the d-line in your face before you even received the snap im sure you would put "real competition" this past sunday, and he had a decent line putting up 9 out of 10 completions and 123 yds, with 2 TDs. bringing the redskins from behind to win the game 30-16.

  • Even when he did have a little time to operate, he was throwing the ball right to any of Georgia's defenders. I'm sorry, Hawaii fans, but this kid just simply isn't as good as you think he is. A lot of QBs could throw 50 touchdowns a season facing Coll. of Charleston, San Jose State, Nevada, Idaho, Utah State, and other WAC teams. Watch Graham Harrell from TTU throw for 5000 yards and 45 touchdowns against Texas, OU, Kansas, and some real teams.

  • so his stats this past weekend were just some fluke or beginner's luck? he had time in the pocket, was calm and poised. he passed for 123 yds and 2 TDs with only 1 incomplete pass. yeah a lot of QB's can throw for 50 TD's against those teams, but can they put the ball on the money everytime? looking at the passing drills they did for the QB challenge he can, and destroyed the competition even doubling some of the other QB's in his draft class, and they all had the same time to "operate".

  • Most decent QBs can make a quick throw against a crappy secondary when he has time. Timmy Chang (QB at Hawaii before Brennan) put up better numbers than Brennan, so did Kliff Kingsbury, BJ Symons, Sonny Cumbie, and Cody Hodges (all of Texas Tech). The point is, yeah, Brennan has talent, but he was a product of the system and a product of the defense hampered WAC.

  • Chang put up better numbers in terms of total yards. But keep in mind that Brennan only played 3 years, and broke records that people set in 4. so what if its because of the system he plays in. yeah we do pass a lot, but without being able to connect with the receiver, and make those accurate throws you won't do well period. So give him some credit, he's a decent QB, and has the ability to start given a couple years of experience in the NFL.

  • Any NCAA record he holds is going out the window this year. His career touchdown passes record will be passed, and he will be overtaken in yards (although he doesn't hold the record, he's third behind Ty Detmer and Chang) by Graham Harrell of Texas Tech.

The best thing Brennan has going for him is he has pretty good mobility. The worst thing he has going against him is that everyone saw how scared he was against UGA. He played scared, and it showed in the results. That and UGA was better.

  • hell if you didn't have any time to throw the ball let alone get the snap before a one of the d-linemen were in your face i'm sure you'd be pretty scared too. That game wasn't Brennan's fault and you and all the other Georgia fans know it. It was simply a game lost in the trenches where the Hawaii's o-line just wasnt agile enough to hold back the Georgia pass rush. If Brennan was given more time to go through his progressions he would have done a lot better than he did.

  • oh yeah i think you're forgetting that Brennan was one of the most accurate QBs going into the draft, and proved that against the colts secondary.

  • and i would still take Brennan over Harrell anyday.

  • 500 yards and 5 TDs against Fresno State, Nevada, San Jose State, and Idaho OR 500 yards and 5 TDs against Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, and Missouri? Tough call there....

  • i think brennan put up better stats and harrel threw the ball like 100 times more then brennan. colt vursed bad teams but he has ACCURACY

  • Harrell: 5705 yards, 48 TDs, 14 INTs, 72% completions

    Brennan: 4343 yards, 38 TDs, 17 INTs, 70% completions

Harrell had more yards and touchdowns, had fewer picks, had a higher completion percentage, AND he played in the Big XII.

This just in (In case the Dawgs didn't prove it): Brennan is NOT the be-all-end-all QB that you think he is.

No, the sUGAr Bowl loss to Georgia wasn't all Brennan's fault, but he certainly didn't help the cause any.

  • wow. there is much crying going on here.

    /pee

  • uhhh big 12 zero d

  • What was Harrell's score for accuracy at the Combine? I know that Brennan got 100% accuracy.

  • HAHA!!! SWEET!!!!!

Redskins park is just 15 minutes away from my house.

  • Gwat teh Fawk?

  • hes a redskin!!!!!!!

  • HES A REDSKIN!!!!!!

    BnG for life!!1

  • Colt will do well because he is underrated and all the really shitty team has first pick. If he is still their Seattle will take him. Matt Hasselbeck got 2-3 more years left in him. Colt could understudy under him then take over.

  • either way he's underrated...if some team gets him in the 5th ot 6th round, he'll be a steal

  • Redskins:)

  • BEARS!!!!

  • It don't matter who picks him up, where ever he goes, they will do well.

  • announcers said that he did "pretti good todai"

since when was perfect accuraci just pretti good.

  • Colt Brennan kicked ass on the passing drills. New England should draft this guy, he would be the perfect understudy to Tom Brady. No running back offense just like UH, Go Patriots!
