The whole classical music "superiority" mindset isn't a result of the poorly founded belief that if you listen to bach and beethoven it enhances your brain, it's the notion that classical is music in its most lush and sophisticated form. I'm not saying that I subscribe to that idea but that's how classical junkies see it.
