that skeleton spawner only live in light places so light that room up oh and by the way that room is called a dungen and sometimes those chests have diamonds in them and carefull!! that spawner will spit out skeletons in dark places.

Also, is it possible to harvest a monster spawner in some way so you can load your mob killer up with them? That would lead to somethingl like 100,000+ items/hour.

if you light up a spawner with torches they cant spawn in the light. so it essentially becomes a trophy. or a valuable resource if you can build around it

if you llok at your screen from an angle (on a laptop) so the colors look inverted or negative, red stone looks like diamond

if u press f3 up until beta 1.8, you can tell when theres mosters and their id codes will be visible as far as a ghast can seeu (100 blocks) try it its awesome Oh and I almost forgot if u make a hollow rectangle going up like a door frame that is three wide and five tall including the frame itself out of obsidian which u need diamondpick to mine and light the bottom centre block on fire something cool will happen...
