I don't get why some people don't understand the lyrics/song. If you just think about it it's pretty simple. The song is about getting attention from boys. It's almost like they have a magic charm or something. Hence the lyrics "Wanna know my secrets no I will never tell cause I got the magic touch" or "this is right for me, living like a STAR" It's all about being the center of attention and knowing it. Basking in the glory of being the "it" girl that can bring all the boys out.
