Well I got a moment to watch your testimony...not sure if this was the one you suggested. It certainly is easy to fall into a steady cycle of drinking. It's great you got away from alcohol, I know it's a monkey on my back! The worst I find for me personally is trying to break a generations old habit. I think your dad quitting was great I can't remember my dad ever not drinking. Having the will power to quit is awesome man, good job. Well have a good day. Cheers
@firecharger I heard you say it was jesus who took it away, but I stated that it takes will power...those where my words not what you stated in your testimony!! You certainly don't have to be abrasive to those who aren't abrasive to you, but to each their own. I actually watched it twice before I responded so I listened to it quite thoroughly. But do have a good day. Cheers
The way you left your comment made it sound like you're attributing my sobriety to simply "will power." The problem with that is that I was so addicted, I couldn't stop on my own. My sobriety is entirely attributed to Jesus delivering me by taking away my addiction, then it was my responsibility after that to remain sober. Mission accomplished.
I just want to be clear that if I relied on will power alone, I'd still be an alcoholic.
@firecharger No I intended nothing against your faith by no means..I suppose the best way would have been to put it perhaps if there is a will there is a way. Even though my views on faith are uncertain, I have had a few friends through my short years on this planet that would be still in a rough place if their faith hadn't helped them when they where down!! I appreciate that they found the help they required when they needed it most, certainly no harm intended you. Have a good evening. Cheers
I was a cahtholic never cared about God. I was more intersted in sex and money, booze and all other cares of the world. Parents sent me to Liberty University I was witnessed to numerous times and always rejected it. Could not believe once saved always saved. Last semester there I felt the Holy Spirit come over me. I had no idea what it was at the time. I heard something speak" something really good is going to happen". Met my wife received Christ and never been the same since. JESUS IS REAL
Thank you for your sincere testimony. It is a blessing that you have shared it with the world and I pray that whosoever may listen and see this that does not have a relationship with Jesus, that they will turn their lives over to Jesus. Time is too short and God is real. I had a 22 year addiction to cigerettes, crack cocaine and alcohol and also was delivered in 1 day. have not looked back since. God bless you and thank you for sharing and thank you for serving our country.
Thank you for your service to our country first of all. It is a shame all soldiers come home as 'walking wounded' and a lot of them never ask for healing from Jesus :( I pray for them every day because I have had PTSD (not from war) and I pity anyone who dosen't seek healing. Satan uses it to eventually KILL you!
Thank you for sharing your awesome testimony! Will share with my husband!
Jesus is coming back for really. I can't wait till he comes back. I wish I could put my arm around him right night. And apologize for all the wicked sins I have done.

You miss the entire point of the testimony. It's NOT will power. It was Jesus Christ who took away my addiction.

War is terrible. It is so sad young men dying all over greed. Its so sad many won't make unless they repent.
