however, iPhone always tries to act bad ass in a commercial that's basically saying "we now have something we should of had 5 years ago just like every other WinMo phone does".

Unfortunately, the iPhone also has many other features that lots of WinMo phones don't have, or that don't even approach the functionality of the iPhone. I'm not a fanboy, but the iPhone easily surpasses most other phones in terms of features, functionality, and ease-of-use, especially now that it's added most of the basic features of most phones (i.e. video recording, mms, copy-and-paste, etc...).

Okay first of all in terms of functionality a Windows Mobile phone is light years beyond an iPhone. That's a fact. You basically just made a blank statement without naming anything by saying "It has better functionality" yet you didn't say WHAT. A WinMo phone has the ability to completely change the ROM and operating system. You can't even change the BACKGROUND on an iPhone's menu let alone customize the OS. Name something iPhone has that WinMo doesn't?? iPhone is all about looks.

Also note that I currently own an iPod touch but use a Samsung Omnia as my phone. The Omnia does everything that the iPhone does plus much much more. In terms of "ease-of-use" I will say that the iPhone is more SIMPLE which makes it easier to learn because it doesn't do much except adding icon shortcuts to a bunch of pages. WinMo phones are for business professionals who need functionality and iPhone is for kids to play games. However still the Omnia handles way more video formats

Finally a WinMo phone can run an iPhone interface yet an iPhone can't even begin to handle WinMo or any TouchFlo, TouchWiz, or Manilla2D interface. The reason people are fanboys of iPhone is because Apple can market the phone out the ass since they create both the phone and MacOS whereas Microsoft just creates WinMo and each phone creates their own interface. So you can't compare simply WinMo to iPhone when theres hundreds of WinMo phones. iPhone just has the icon pages and good scrolling.

Let me say I don't own an iPhone, so I won't try to kiss its ass. However, I've played with lots of phones, and few compare in smoothness to the iPhone. That's a big plus to anyone who uses their phones more than once a day. Also, it's hard to compare the iPhone's features with the features of every WinMo phone out there, since there are many. However, I'd like YOU to tell me a few features missing from the iPhone. Also, the iPhone's OS can be changed by means of jailbreaking.

It has video, 32 GB, picture text messaging, allows for more than 10mb downloads on 3g, 4g ready (for when AT&T finallly has it), and fortunately, it's backward compatible.
