  • Great Song xD

  • hey check out my guam video too lol i currently live in guam its beutiful we are stationed there so yeah great vid btw

  • My father was stationed there back in 85-89. I was in middle school. Weirdest thing happened a few weeks ago. Got a wrong number from Guam. I'm now in San Antonio, Tx. HA! lady said she was given this number to her Daughter in law and hung up. Called her back and talked for about 10 mins. Said her son moved to SA,TX and married. His wife had moved to Guam for a few months and had the same ph#. Only time I got a wrong# call. Wouldn't mind going back one day since its 20yrs or so.

  • born in Agania Heights here... raised in talofofo, moved to the U.S. when i was 5.. went back when i was 9 and never seen the island since.. i miss it alot.. so many parties! so many women! so much fun! thats why i always keep in touch still like look at the guam pdn and stuff.. so nice vid anyway. love the music.

  • I was born in Saipan but both my parents are palauan but I've lived in Guam since I was 2 months,I just moved to Hawaii 2 years ago so i miss Guam a lot.

  • Thank you. I'm just a Floridian who was stationed there in 88/89, thank you for bringing back the memories of that beautiful place.

  • I miss Guam and I wasn't even born there. It's a wonderful island with wonderful people, and your video expresses it perfectly!

  • chamorros for life yo. man i miss the marianas so much

  • My sisters husband is from Guam and she lived there for 13 years all over the island howevver the last was agana..and I lived there at Manilau. I think thats how you spell it. I remember tahiti Rama's the local hang out. I dated a guy that worked on Continental Airlines and we traveled to the islands close by including Bali and Figi..and of course Hawaii.

  • it's spelled mangilao, haha fyi

  • well duh...I'm from Hawaii...not Guam...and lived there..just like I wouldn't expect you to know hawaiian. I'm more interested in the fact that I enjoyed my time there with my friends and family...I don't know if Tahiti Rama is there anymore on the beach?

  • I love Guam. I cant wait to go back.

  • I work on the Pride of America that sails the Hawaiian islands. Guam is still my home. I work 5 months and go home for 5 weeks and I can't wait to the local food and see my family.

  • its guamanian. im %50 chamorro. the other half is mexican. but idk i think i'd rather be full guamanian. i cant speak a little bit of it. well yeah. im supposed to go to guam. for spring break. my aunty & uncle jus got here yesterday from guam. and i was gonna go back with them. i really wanna go

  • 50% Chamorro + 50% mexican = %100 hispanic. embrace your heritage. most Chamorros today don't recognize their culture as Hispanic, although so much of it actually is. mexican influence on Guam is evident in our foods like, titiyas (tortillas), and tamales. many of our dances are mexican influenced, not spanish. It was Mexican sailors and laborers that introduce maize(corn) to the Chamorros and it was the main crop on Guam for hundreds of years. And many of these mexicans married Chamorro women.

  • all former spanish colonies had their own unique hispanic culture by blending both native with spanish culture. Much of Guam's Hispanic culture is disappearing due to Americanization and globalization. Some are now adopting a Polynesian wannabe identity. We don't have to look far back in our history to see who we are. It was just 4 generations ago that we were part of the Hispanic world. The U.S. is to blame for disconnecting our ties to the Hispanic world. It's time we take back what was ours.

  • thank you!!!. lol. yeah our chamorro & spanish are similar. like how we say school. and yeah my dad told me that too

  • good that you recogize your hispanic heritage. both Mexican and Chamorro. and try to use the word, 'Chamorro' more. Guamanian refers to any resident of Guam. Similar to words like, Californian, Texan, etc..

  • mexico doesnt influence guam ....the spanish do. spaniards invaded guam long ago giving guam their hispanic heritage.

  • What is now Mexico was part of New Spain. Guam was funded by the Spanish government out of Mexico City. The Mexico of today does not influence us, but in our history Mexico did influence us. Everything Spanish arrived in Guam via Mexico. That is why we make tortillas and tamales. Not paella. Even the statue of Santa Marian Kamalen is a combination of Our Lady of San Juan de Los Lagos and Our Lady of Guadalupe. Both from Mexico. Why do so many Chamorros look more Mexican than Spanish? hmm?

  • i dont even see no corn growing up in dis bitch..now go suck a dick and die ..mo fugga!!

  • You don't see corn in this video because the U.S. goverment took much of the land after the war. Many corn fields were turned into military bases. Then the U.S. started to import rice in order to feed the Chamorros. We lost our corn culture and many corn foods. Notice that we don't have many rice dishes. Only red rice. Because rice was eaten mostly for special occasions. Only families that grew rice ate it everyday. But everyone ate tortillas and other corn foods daily.

  • im 50% Chamorro and 50% Filipino, ya Spanish Filipino and Chamorro all have words that are similar and same.

  • I am 25% guamianin(i can't spell it lol)

My grandma is brothers with the govnor. Also sister jerome is my grandma's sister.

  • Que cancion tan bonita!

Queda alguien en Guam que todavia hable espanol?

  • Haha How I miss it there..Nice song XD

  • i miss guam soooo much.can't wait to go back

    this video is soo beautiful!

    CHAMORU PRIDE!

  • Thanks for such a nice video. I met this sweet lady in Guam on YT who is truly off of the beaten path. When she smiles, her soul shines in a way I've never seen before. So I've watched a lot of videos on Guam recently and I cannot tell you enough how beautiful the culture is there and hope one day soon I will be lucky enough to visit Guam. And who knows, go out with a very special island girl whose name is equally attractive. Again, thanks for the video.

  • Great video, enjoyed it...

  • To karlira11: circumcision is a choice. most people on guam get circumcised after they are born. most people on guam are catholics. i don't think they have beliefs on such non-religious/non-ritual circumcision on guam. parents choose to circumcised their babies by choice because of hygiene.

  • How much the percentage of all guamanians males are circumcised?

  • lol nice song

  • I miss home!! nice video :)

  • Proud guaho to be chaud. Hafa adai.

  • gomerdose, go to LA u'll find 'em everywhere?!

  • We are called Chamorros.....not Guamanians!missing guam:(

  • well....chamorros are the people that were first on the island. and they are just a group of people on the island. you still have to include filipino's (which i am...been on the island from the time i was 3yrs. old to 6 yrs old.) , rhotan's, people from saipan, and the chuckeeze (think i spelled it right).

  • Hi Guamanians, there is practice non-religious and non-ritual circumcision in your country, Guam? Guamanians do practice male neonatal circumcision? How much the percentage of Guamanian males are circumcised?
