  • I haven´t watched all your vids... yet... But I´ve noticed that you seem to have grown spiritually... have you been in some sort of therapy or did it also just come naturally??? Because I understand that you have made an incredible journey from the eating disorder to this new and healthy life. Did you do it all by yourself?? Or who´s supporting you.

  • Sharon, you are so spot on!! I think you, and I have very similar mindsets.

    Weight loss is a multi-billion dollar industry, because people are looking for an easy way out.

    It really can be as simple as: eat less, exercise more, make healthier food choices most of the time.

    Any "plan" that is super ridged, and makes your favorite food a "sin" is doomed to failure from the get go.

  • i understand exactly what you are saying... just becoming more in tuned with your body... and treating it like GOLD is what i am doing... CHANGE is a good thing... and i am right with ya... I will NEVER see any of my loss again... 130 BABY!!!!!

  • interesting! I have never heard anyone put it like that! so if you are not using a certain plan to guide you, are you just weighing yourself every week? I am using weight watchers as a guide and once I get portions sizes under control and what to combine then I will likely do it on my own. I might keep going to the meetings just because it is great to have that support system in place! I think you have inspired me to video my journey! I have been contemplating it for a while. Thanks~

  • This is what I say: "The weight loss is just a side effect of finally figuring out who I am and what I need, dealing with my emotions is an appropriate way and having the respect for myself necessary to take care of my body and use food for its true purpose." That is the lifestyle I am on. U R right, most people have such a hard time with this & yet once you get it, it is soooo simple and carefree.......isn't it? I love you! God Bless!

  • I actually like ur change of lifestyle. Even if someone does follow a specific diet plan, they are going to have to adapt to the same thing also. U just did it from the start.

  • So, basically ur not on a specific diet, u just adjusted ur way of living. Like maplelicorice said, u just make smarter food choices, listen to your hunger cues. Excercising more than u did in the past.

    I think that is what the question is asking. What are u doing different than u were before?

  • yea, but are you eating less than you did before? and are you exercising daily? Losing 60 pounds in less than a year is very difficult for me, but I believe that limiting calories to 1500 a day or less and exercising daily is the best way.

  • she's just living a healthier lifestyle overall.. that's why she's reaching a healthier weight. she's making smarter food choices, eating treats in moderation, listening to her real hunger cues and incorporating exercise into her life.

    anyways, great video! i wish everyone realized how nice it is to just change your life and live healthier. keep it up!
