  • You are soooooo likable!

  • gotta give it a try!

  • hahah nice vid but you love yourself to much ahha

  • I thought sweet potatoes were golden yellow. Yams are orangey red.

  • im hungry now..

  • wow, what's with all of the harsh comments?? eep.

Your videos are awesome. Would love to see more vegetarian recipes too. Thanks! :-D

  • how do i become a chef.

  • what are you some kind of fancy person?

  • chef s cuteeeee

  • FUCK IM HUNGRY, :( great job

  • wipe your silpat between roastings, carbon tastes bad.

  • I disagree. Some carbon tastes bad, like burning meat in flames on a grill, or if I had used raw garlic in the marinade. But those caramelized sweet potato starches and sugars on the silpat did not cause an off taste,in fact they add to the color and flavor of the dish. How I do I know for sure? I got to eat them! But, thanks for watching and keeping an eye on me. In some cases you would be correct to wipe.

  • it's a fine line between caramel and carbon. Recipe looks like it tastes great!

  • true. But the thin black lines on some char-grilled asparagus,

or a chicken breast, or teriaki salmon, are definately

carbon yet an important flavor profile in the overall dish.

  • GOSH That sounds AWESOME! Thanks!

  • Why don't you ever show your face??

  • I'm an enigma, shrouded by mystery, wrapped in bacon...

  • Mmmmmm. Bacon.

  • mmmm. sweetpotatoes!!! I like to make sweetpotato chips with a brownsugar cream cheese dip.

  • Yams make me think of Autumn, but fixed this way they seem a natural for a lighter summer meal. Thanks for the demo on how a "traditional" seasonal veggie doesn't need to be stuck in just one season.

  • Thanks, thats why I wrote about them today on the site. They should be eaten at least once a week. So good, so easy, so healthy.

  • That would work, but they sell it in every supermarket in town! Safeway alone has like 3 different brands to choose from. Not hard to find at all.

  • Mmmm.. yams are delish. Very well done technically this video too, you're really getting used to the new equipment. Only shot i would have changed is the brown yam on the brown cutting board. But the 450 shot is cool, you have some sort of tunnel filter for that I think. Anyways thanks again, we always look forward to your vids!

  • I forgot, i was going to make a joke about my "invisible" sweet potatoes, but I forgot during the VO. Oh well, thanks for pointing it out!

  • umm whats the difference between a sweet potato and a yam?

  • please go to the website and read the article I wrote about this very subject. Thanks!
