Compared to Pitch-Shifter's 1st three albums, this is sad & pathetic. Go back to their debut "Industrial", "Submit" or "Desensitized" for their truest, heaviest work. influenced by early Swans & Godflesh, it was real Industrial music. This sounds like later Helmet & Prodigy combined.

when was the video made? this is historical! awesome! the song is from the album 'deviant' released in 2000, but check out 3:12 of this video - it's like 9/11 and wtc! and the whole concept is utterly revealing - it's exactly what there is - everything goes on according to the hidden agenda, which is ultimately controlled by the green guys (i guess they'd be reptilians:) which show up at the end of the video. gorgeous, so freaking brilliant! but - how do they know..?:)

The crazy drums (after "Whatcha gonna do?") are samples. It's the Amen break, used pretty much all the time in drum'n'bass. That's why I loved this tune, they mixed metal with dnb perfectly.

I listen to a lot of dnb. I know an Amen break when I hear it. The rest of the drums in the track are real enough, but the bit I was talking about is samples. check out video code '5SaFTm2bcac' for more info, and video codes 'pfWp7feYgOA' and 'Udw90rQ7niU' for just two of the many, many great tunes that have been written using the same drum sound as this tune. No disrespect to Pitchshifter, this tune rocks hard and they made a very clever move by mixing jungle drums with intense metal.

Yeah it is samples in this, I think what CenZorFox is trying to say is the drummer Jason Bowld tries to do most of the beats live. Not much of their live show uses drum samples, which is surprising and a testament to Jason's skill. Amen break gets so overused these days, but this tune is nearly 8 years old now! I'm going to up a live version of this maybe today.
