Hitler made too many mistakes though, he was not a good military leader, he had charisma but he took too much on gave himself too much stress and ended up getting ill. One thing though he wasn't a coward, some people say he was but he wasn't, also there were 40 attemps on his life but he survived them all. His generals didn't like him that much, the navy even less, he had stomach problems too and didn't like the ocean that much.

Weltkrieg gemeint hast - und über diese Zeit weiß ich längst nicht so viel wie über die Hitler-Zeit. Da gibt es noch einiges für mich zu lernen. Of course the majority of Germans had no interest in Hitler's "super human" theories or killing innocents. You have to remember, Germans at that time had little money. They wanted a better economy, a better way of life. They had tried other parties, nothing was truely working. Hitler was only voted in as a last resort, to get the economy running. It's the same today. People don't care about politics. They ultimately care about bread on the kitchen table.

The phone was invented by Alexander Graham Bell, who I think was Scottish. Also, the car was invented by Henry Ford, an American, and the radio was invented by Marconi, who, correct me if I'm wrong, was an Italian-American. I'm not sure about the others. I am sure that Germany was the first to put a rocket into space (they did it will the V-2 in 1944, I believe)

I have listened to people from that time, Hitler adjutant Heinz Linge wrote a book in the late 70's and it was mostly pro-Hitler. Germany suffered because the Allies destroyed it, blame the Allies, they are the evil ones.

Hitler believed that it was the Jews that caused war, so in order to restore order, he had to "cleanse" them. I think that's the story, but I'm not a 100% sure.
