Any ideas?

IT WORKED FOR ME MAN, THANX! for those who can't modify the "host" because the finder says that there is not enough privileges to save it, here is SOLUTION: copy all the text and then paste it in a new document, then do what Macboy says and then go to "save as..." ofcourse you save it like "hosts" on the name and thats all, (you have to put every time accept authenticate and thats all) That worked for me, THANX AGAIN!

Yo man I had the same problem just move the old "host file" into the trash. Then move the new edited file into the "ETC" folder. It worked for me! :)

Attention: You need to be Administrator to apply this changes...( Preferences> accounts > administrator )

I have found a really easy way of fixing this

1. Download TinyUmbrella

2. at TinyUmbrella you see "advanced" click that

3. uncheck the box "Set hosts to cyia...."

4. Close TinyUmbrella, Restart iTunes and reboot your iPhone

5. Hit update on iTunes and your done !

Thanks! But I when I tried to replace the file I had an error window that said the hosts file can not be replaced as it is being used. So what I did was "delete" the original hosts file in the etc folder, and then I was able to transfer the "modified" hosts file from the desktop to the etc file...and That worked!!! Thanks again!
