I think they could use a TV Show or Mini-series on HBO. Check out Band of Brothers or Generation Kill and you'll see what I mean. They could give the back story to the Halo universe with the UNSC fighting the Insurrectionists before they encounter the Covenant. Would be awesome.

neural sensors in the chiefs armour does not make him a cyborg. he is still very much human. his suit just responds to his thoughts. a cyborg is like darth vader, part human part robot.

@SeniroTaco They're not just sensors in his suit, they're in his Brain too. It syncs his armor directly to his Brain so it becomes like a second skin. Also of note, once Captain Keyes' hands Master Chief his Pistol in Halo: Combat Evolved, the name of the Chapter is "AI Constructs and Cyborgs first!"

@womys: Yes I have read the books, more than once in fact. I've also played the games a million times and they clearly say Cyborg right in the game's dialog, including a Chapter name of Halo 1 : "AI Constructs and Cyborgs first!"

Do you know what a Cyborg is? Definition: "Cyborgs are human beings who have technical parts attached to their bodies on a semipermanent or permanent basis to enhance their capabilities."

@Nicro327 HUGE difference. ODSTs are the best of the best for the Marines, but they're still normal Humans. Spartans have been Genetically engineered to be stronger and faster than a normal Human. ODSTs once referred to Spartans as freaks because of this, but they were just bitter because the Spartans became the biggest bad asses in the UNSC and the ODSTs became second best. They still fight side by side in major engagements though.

You play as a genetically engineered cyborg 500 years in the future, fighting a religious alien Covenant. Modern Warfare takes place now and you fight Russians. Just because they're both First Person Shooters, it doesn't mean you can compare the two. They're two completely different Animals.

Actually, yes they are. The games and the books have refered to the Spartans as Cyborgs on numerous occasions. I think people simply don't know what "Cyborg" means and automatically assume I mean Robot. No, a Cyborg is an organic life form that uses technology to enhance itself. Such as implanting a computer into your brain which then interfaces with a mechanical suit to increase strength and stamina.

actually i was wrong. It was planet Reach that was blown. They had to evacuate while fighting back. Large ships getting blown up after the evac from Reach. Most of them died. All spartans died except for one(Master Chief). So they flee from reach in 2051. The year of Halo Combat Evolved. A year later they were fighting on Earth(New Mombasa). They arrived in the Outskirts and fought their way to the city core. Then they blew up the scarab left while wave 6 arrived. The O.D.S.T.

Halo is famous for it's MP but it has an excellent SP story line if you like saving humanity from technologically advanced aliens bent on destroying everything we stand for.

No they're not. They're from the Short "Halo: Landfall". It was a promotional video for Halo 3. The movie isn't being made and there have been no scenes filmed at all for a movie. They did the same thing for ODST, making a short video called "We Are ODST".
