Vampires originate from myths all over the world, none of them completely similar. They've been changed countless times, and no, there isn't one who is more real than the other. Those are the main points but NOTHING about the vampire characters in Meyers' books even vaguely resembles a true vampire! They act like teenagers, they SPARKLE in sunlight & they're 'vegetarians'. There are many more flaws but the point is; other vampire movies broke some codes but still kept the theme - Good. The Twilight series breaks away from everything and it's CRAP!
