Due to this song, I got to have a serious concern about him. I could not help paying attention in his stimulating, speculative voice.. It was an exquisite combination. Whenever I hear the piano prelude, my heart still tremble..

Words such as 'bleed' or 'breed' remind me of Brett...

Instinctive Needs are soaked in his voice, inspire the desire for a gooey texture of freedom. It was his sincere or serious enty for an vanity and a lust for life, also.

@grinningsoul77 You're right, they were awesome live. Saw them twice, once when the first album came out in Liverpool. Once in Southampton, just before they split. The first time, Brett came out to talk the fans queueing outside the Royal Court theatre.

@thelucy3703 Awesome song. Saw them for this tour in St Louis upstairs in a warehouse. There was support post in the middle of the stage and they were pissed, but it was still one of the most memorable shows I've seen ever.

This is just amazing, I'm truly speachless. Brett is so talented, and the guitars here... That's one of my fav of Suede. I discovered this band a week ago and it's first time in my hole life when music talks in my language so much! I just can't get rid of them - they all the time play in my head

This is one my favorite songs ever! I could listen to it all day. Pure brilliance! I enjoyed Coming Up quite a bit but I always felt that this was the one true gem on that album hidden amongst other excellent but less inspirational songs.

Coming up was such a great album. I mean 10 tracks. 5 were top ten singles. And the other 5 were even better. I mean picnic by the motorway, by the sea and the chemistry between us was class. And to say there first 2 albums was even better proves how great suede were

Coming Up was an incredible achievement! I remember the critics fully expected Suede to fall flat on their faces after Bernard left the band. The press (just before the release of Coming Up) were really ugly. Richard Oakes is such an underrated songwriter. At 17 he was able to step up and co-write countless top ten singles. Amazing!
