Hey i have a question. how much do i need to save up if im going to live there for one year. Im been think about moving there but to scare to do so. Lol Im want move from Seattle wa to Ho chi Minh city Vietnam

@SeattleVietnam5000 It depends entirely on you, where you live, how you spend the money, how you want to live. Some expats can get by on 400 dollars a month. I need at least 1,000. 1500 a month is an ideal amount. Then you can really bang the above average hookers.

@FLYHiGHx3 I don't think I'll ever go back to my roots. Vietnam today was not like the Vietnam of 22 years ago and I'm not quite sure about enjoying my life. It can be pretty miserable, especially with the minimal hours that I'm working. Thanks again though.

@DonSanJose2011 I am barely making a living teaching at an international high school. If you want to live comfortably in Vietnam I suggest you find work with a foreign company here that will pay you foreign prices. Therefore you must have a college degree and some kind of experience.I am staying here for at least another 10 months.
