  • i get why adrian baker and mike kowalski were kicked out of the band. It's a shame that Chris farmer had to go though with Christian coming aboard

  • @gsgeek540 Big time politics, Mike is giving Christian all the decent songs and slowly edging everyone else out. That comes FIRST hand.

  • @britinabq the funny part though is according to rumors, there's no spot for christian in the reunion starting in april

  • do Mike and Bruce do virtually anything in this version? It seems to be all the bassist and drummer. Nice sound but lame that the actual "beach boys" seem to be background vocals at best.

  • John Cowsill is on drums here. At least he knows how to play all the Beach Boys songs at the right tempo and the correct way unlike that other guy they had!!

  • Think it's kinda funny how it tookthe camera man until 1:30 to figure out Chris is singing lead. John Cowsill on drums?

  • I saw 2 differnt guys at this years iowa state fair that looklike Mike Love wonder if he was there on 2 different occasions

  • Over the years, there has been such a high rate of turn-over for the high parts.

    Hmmmm

Chris is a great guy, with a great talent. Matt Jardine was also great and Jeffrey too.

  • Not even close. Really shows how much better Carl was.

  • FANTASTIC SONG!!!

  • They get less than alittle polite applause.

Bruce & Mike are just not up to it, they should call it quits and let others carry the torch for the Beach Boy songs.

  • Is there really a point? At least Brian sings most leads at his concerts, this is NOT the Beach boys for fucks sake.

Mike looks like he's fallen asleep on a bloody safari trip.

  • Mike's guys are really good there is no doubt, I wish Brian was producing them.

  • @ForeverMan96 Bruce is singing. You can hear him.

  • Chris does a great job on this CW masterpiece; Chris is greatly missed in this version of The BB's ; he has a great voice, as does Randell Kirsh. For those who may not know, Carl did " GT" as a solo; listen: all the voices are his. ALL of Them. Wolfsky9

  • I saw Christian Love do it in NH a couple summers ago and I fell for it and him. Somebody please post Christian doing Good Timin on You Tube. He is soooooo good and applealing. Talented on that guitar and a swell voice.

  • Let's not forget John Cowsill on the Drums singing with Chris !!!! Remember theCowsills from the 60's !!!!!

  • HELL! When did Love start that Bob Hope thing?

  • Great performance, how do you step into Carl Wilson's shoes and do a fantastic job? Ask Chris Farmer.

  • @npwd You must be a relative.

  • @alienhuman No just appreciate good musicianship.

  • @npwd It's a tribute band... nothing more.

  • @alienhuman not at all

  • I miss Chris Farmer. I never met him (seen him live a few times, though), but I miss him.

  • mike love said meditation reverses the aging process but he looks old and the maharishi died of old age there is no fountain of youth, and there is no such thing as cellulite people that believe in that need psychotherapy

  • Are you Doug Johnson in the group Ambrosia?

  • I went to High School with Chris, and was in a band with him briefly back then.

Would love to hear from Chris again someday.

    Doug Johnson from LA

  • He is about to release a solo album. Check out his website...chrisfarmermusic [dot] com

  • This song is one that many different band members have sung lead on. When it first came out in 1979, Carl Wilson sang the lead. Dennis Wilson gave it a try at least once in concert. Mike Love sang the lead on a telethon performance. In more recent years, Brian Wilson has sung it at his concerts, and Chris Farmer, John Stamos, and Christian Love have all tried it out. I also have a video with John singing the lead. Check it out!

  • @friendly76 Is that true?? All those guys really sung the lead on it.

  • Which dude is Chris Farmer?

  • The one singing lead, on the far right.

  • playing bass

  • That *was* an amazing performance... I thought it was lip synched at first... but it was live... great harmonies...

  • Nicely done, surprisingly enough. It's a shame though msnbc couldn't have removed their scroll during the song, it's a little distracting reading about terrorist bombings during such a peaceful song. Sign of our times I guess.

  • BTW I always thought this was 2006?

  • Sorry, it is 2006...not sure why I put 2005...

  • Best Mike & Bruce performance ever! They do "Good Timin'" a lot better then Brian's band.

  • Amazing performance. I can't believe thats live!
