Love the effects here, and the background sounds are terriffic, too. It was all good, except that "green shirt" strolls away all cocky like (he's got a slug of lead in his belly, guys, yet he appears to just have a spot of blood on his shirt). That said, it's still great work. Congratulations.

At first I was thinking "ok well I guess everyone just has guns now" then i remembered you live in Texas and that's a state where you can carry a gun in plain view in a holster if you have the permit. Overall good camera work and interesting gun shots.

This is pretty good. I like to ask a couple of questions about this movie.

1. When the guns are fired, do you use computer effects or fake rounds?

2. How do you do those effects with the wood being shot and the breaking/jumping glass?

Hello Hards

1. The guns we use are stage guns that fire blanks. Sometimes those blanks fail to flash so we have to insert CG muzzle flashes. We also add some sound effects to make the shots sound more real.

2. We place firecrackers under the wood to make it blow to pieces like that, and we use underwater firecrackers for the breaking vases. Jumping vases are the result of the glass being too thick to break, but the vase is so light that a firecracker makes it jump in the air and break when it hits the ground.
