He clearly has a twitch and possibly a mild case of tourettes syndrome. My twin brother has tourettes and he twitches. Nothing funny or crazy about it. Its a medical condition. If you think this is funny or weird then shame on you. Often people with tourettes or twitches have hobbies to let loose and it is a form of release. My brother is one of the best drum players and athletes I know. Good for this goalie to play even though he knows people are watching and making fun of his twitching.

I'd say over half the keepers I know have ticks, maybe not on this tendys level but they have them.Both my brother and I have them, mine are mild and rare while my bros are pretty noticeable. Most goalies I know dont even know theyre doing it until they watch game film, then you feel like a twitchy weirdo. The drums in this vid are f'n awesome. I'd have to start a brawl if those kicked in during a game I was in.

yea it's not really that crazy, most goalies have a twitch like that, it's just natural because sometimes the helmet isn't sitting properly and you just move it around and shrug. Patrick Roy was notorious for it.  I do the same think. always shaking my head and shifting my helmet around trying to get it to sit properly or adjust it

As a goalie, I do the same thing. You do it to adjust the position of the helmet so it sits more comfortably, or so the spars of the mask are positioned better, or to clear a hair that's in your eye, or what have you. Nothing unusual about it.

But when the game is in progress and u cant take ur glove of blocker off i do it to better position the mask, move the sweat off my face, hope to god it relieves the itch im having or to relieve the pressure of mask from being pressed against my face for so long. i do it for most of my padding to shift it around for better comfort or trying to slide it back into place.
