The last time they couldn't decide if something should be in "Final Fantasy" side or main overall we got Final Fantasy Adventure and Final Fantasy Legend for GBA. They really are waffling back and forth over this, but it's okay. It looks rock solid.

This is the closet thing to a Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light sequel we are going to get... Which doesn't bother me in the slightest because this game looks amazing and the same team did a great job with FF:T4HoL :D Day 1 buy for me.

Oblivion = Oblivion gates in the game that lead to hell.

Warcraft = The craft of war.

Starcraft = The craft of war in space.

Lord of the Rings = Sauron, the lord of the one ring to rule them all.

Call of Duty = Soldier's going above and beyond the call of duty.

Battlefield = Soldiers fighting, on a battlefield.

Bravely Default: Flying Fairy = A fairy who bravely defaults on a loan before being evicted from her flying house.

Art is fine, but that should be left for the behind-the-scenes nonsense, give us an idea of what the game plays like. Or did everyone forget that gameplay is what really matters most?

I guess so, because almost every trailer I've cared to watch is some drawn-out crap with tons of cutscenes and narration.

Crystal? Hikari no senshi? I know Square Enix is trying a brand new idea, but the funny thing is they can't seem to avoid mentioning terms that would make one think back to FF. I say this for fun of course. This trailer is very mysterious and quite melancholic due to the music.

@MrNick2D Most Japanese games do. Most of our trailers either start with "Long ago" (or some variation) or some guy running away. I guess it's just the basic way of making trailers.

okay i am buying a 3ds just for this game, and also the girl seems eerily familiar w/ the girl from the last story, the only thing that was missing was her whistling at the end of the trailer lol

loved everything else thought those backgrounds are gorgeous and the music is perfect i hope the story and gameplay are just as good or this would be a major tragedy.

@Matthew9k You are an idiot. The 3DS came out before the tsunami, and was region locked BEFORE THE TSUNAMI. It was even planned to be region locked LONG BEFORE THE TSUNAMI.

Not to mention I've imported many games since then for my DS, GBA, and PSP just fine and dandy.

While I can't confirm whether any of this is true or not, some claim that Bravely Default means the game plays by classic rpg archetypes in modern days (which would turn it into a default game, bravely doing so by going against the common trend of modernizing rpgs) and Flying Fairy...well, it goes by the same acronomym as Final Fantasy (FF), so it tells you it's related to that franchise even tho it's not a FF game.
