@MegaHeavyD Koko's finisher was the Ghostbuster (a/k/a Birdbuster a/k/a brainbuster) you saw here. Koko was pretty strong for a little guy so he'd get the big guys up in it too. I've seen a couple of matches on YouTube where Koko finishes with the top rope dropkick followed by a splash.
i tought that was the dark match at Wrestlemania 7, because i know that the dark match was Koko B Ware vs Brooklyn Brawler. Sorry, if my english is bad.
Ah, it just dawned on me that even though that move is commonly known as a brainbuster (or brainbuster suplex), they couldn't call it that since the Brain Busters were in the WWF at the time...
koko prolly didnt get to practice the move alot cuz he was gettin his ass kicked most of the time...the only guys he ever beat were jobbers like this douche
When Ron first showed up in the WWF, Vince McMahon (when he was still commentating) called him Ron Simmons. His reply was, "Rom Simmons? My name is Farooq Asad!"
If you want to see Koko at his best, watch the old Memphis footage. Around 82 to 86. He had the best dropkick. It would rival Steamboat's. Any wrestler you could think of. Koko was much better pre-WWE. Another match to watch, his match with Ric Flair in Memphis. This guy deserves to be in any wrestling HOF. Unfortunately, the bird is what he is known for. Another note. He started the Birdman gimmick in Memphis, and then went to Mid South with it.
That missle dropkick was probably better than the ones most people today do. I'd love to see some one pull a missle dropkick off then land on their feet like that.
Growing up as a fan of this era i respect these guys so much they did there jobs which was to put the other person over what happens when you put to guys like that together you get a damn good match like this one
this was actually a great match. its pretty cool koko actually won although it was jobber vs jobber but still its cool to see him win. jobber vs jobber matches are almost always better then overrated guy vs jobber.
Don't get me wrong I like the Villanos. As a matter of fact they are one of my favorite tag teams. Let me rephrase it. WCW gave the Villanos a raw deal. In my opion they should have been main eventers, but unfortunately WCW treated them like jobbers.
This was a really good match, one of the better WWF matches of that era. Both of these guys were really good at wrestling, and put on an entertaining segment. Awesome stuff
maybe mcmahon didnt like the black fellas and koko was the token, he should have been champ, had the best moves and always got the crowd going. did bloody well considering he won about 2 matches in 30
The Ghostbuster was an awesome manuever for that time period, I mean c'mon the top guy Hulk Hogan used a guillotine Leg Drop my Mother could probably pull off! LMAO!
Poor Brawler, the gimmick was great! You knew they had it in for him when he didn't even get theme music or even an entrance. HE was always in the ring when cameras were rolling

the match most likely took place in 1989 because he was fired the year and didn't come back until1992. good match though!

In what alternate universe is Dusty Rhodes vs Greg Valentine the greatest match of all time? That is the burning question.
MmmmmPopTarts 2 years ago 2
@MmmmmPopTarts
lol. Dusty Rhodes vs. Greg Valentine is right on par with Jim Duggan vs. Haku as the greatest match of all time.

Man, Koko's finisher the Ghostbuster was wicked as hell. It's a very dangerous move too. You gotta practice that on either end like 100 times.

Much like a 1998 match between WCW tag teams Disorderly Conduct and the Villano Brothers.

A-Hem do not insult Villanos, Villano V just defeated Blue Panther taking his mask away against all odds...

Yes, and Turner and Bischoff neglected Villano III that's one of the BEST luchadores ever in Mexico, being very popular also without hood...
The Villanos have already two members that passed away masked, V1 & V2.

Also his Ghostbuster rules... modern WWE brainbusters are so fuckin lame.

I can see some of the bigger stars not wanted to lay down to the "ghostbuster".
They were probably afraid.
Just like people didnt want to take Bradshaw's clothesline.
