Hey Rixterkat, not sure if you can answer this or not. I have 5 acrea of flat dry farm ground and want to dig a 2 acre pond. Dug 2 test holes by hand and hit clay at 6 feet. I want it about 18ft deep with a beach swim area. Roughly how much would it cost? I have estimates all around $20/k. I found a D8 cat & JD4410 exc. both for $20/k and am thinking I can dig it myself. Not sure how much fuel would be or where to began. Any pointers?
