My (way back when) boyfriend and I used to shoot pool in a dive bar..I always put this on the jukebox and we'd stare at each other and try to play pool...other patrons used to watch us dance around each other...those were the days....beautifully sung by Juice Newton! Such memories..

i heard this song for the first time this past friday on satellite radio. WOW!! i had heard some of ms. newton's other songs before, but this one really made me stop what i was doing and admire her vocal ability. it really captivated me and gave me a brand new appreciation of her. thank u for posting it, mrkingsrow. i am truly a fan now (of ms. newtons', that is.....but u are great for posting it) =)

I work in a grocery store and this song is playing over the satelite network. I believe it is Juice Newton it sounds like her but it is not this version, it's a tad bit slower with a litte more of a blues kick to it. I love it! Any ideas which version It may be? This is one of my all time favorite songs!

Oh wow...since CDs were introduced in the US only a year or two after this song came out, I can't help but wonder if Juice Newton started something with the design of the record label that I saw at around the 90-second mark. Ever noticed how it's rare for CD's to have a stock record label on them like LP's used to have? Well, since she did that on LP, I can't help but wonder if she started a trend there...

BTW, Capitol had my favorite labels of the black label w/ the multicolored ring.

gentle feminine voice which fabulously lends itself to putting over this kind of a

great gutsy tune! She seems like a down to earth diva....not too much glitz or
