look for milky white areas or sandy looking water and there will be typically be a rip current in the area. stay safe, swim smart and stay alert.. CHEERS!

I seen a rip current get stuck in someones ass and it tore their guts out. their eyes were dialated with misery and there wasn't a lifeguard around. it was a lousy beach, all they could afford was a deathguard. won't go back there....ever.

I LOVE rip current only when I go surfing because it takes me out there faster. Always swim parallel and NOT PANIC !

Yup... I've been in the exact same situation... got stuck in a rip big time... (and did not know I had to swim parallel, and then to the beach). Thankfully, was rescued just in time.
