  • WOOOW!

  • Wow ..thats sickk man check mine out.

  • What materialare you using for the stencils?

  • is he using regular paper when he cuts his stencils, or is it some special type of material??

  • I thought it was looking pretty average until the last 10 seconds.

    really gud

  • OMG... fantástico...

  • fucking wow!

  • how does he get those islands to stay together like that? What is his trick?

  • multilayer you cut the islangs out...i think. its kinda opposite to a one layer where you need bridges but with those you have one background and just add tiny details as you work your way up...

  • @LukeGb yes, that's right.

  • wow

  • damn you are a mother fucking good

  • holy shit, if I can ever achieve anything moderately close to this with my stencil art, it will be my greatest achievement haha

  • thats amazing. true commitment to the art form.

  • makes me feel sick just thinking about havig to cut that whole stencil!

  • you dont need a special program to enlarge an image!!! just use ms paint!!!

  • i use accete mate, but i got a program which can split an image up into as many pieces as u want.. so that u can have it as big as u want.. hit me up if u need anything else =] like if u want me to send u the program =]

  • o fresh. I'd be so stoked if you could hit me up with that program because I've been cutting out my images on manila folders then enlarging them via a flashlight and a dark room. This program would allow for a lot more detail if you could tell me the name of it that'd be superb.

  • use an overhead projector...

  • can you send me that program

  • fodão pra caralho, o cara é profissional ...

  • i know i should feel inspired but i just feel like less of an artist

im gonna go cry in the cornner now

  • fuck men youare awesome at this shit!

im only a beginner at this stencil art!

    well..seeya keep like that men!

  • sick as shit

  • this is amazing!!!

  • incredibile, very very cool. waooooo

  • Go Logan! :)

  • so do these artist draw their own stencils?

  • From time to time I draw my own stencils but I much rather take old photography and even my own. I do whatever I can to get my political message out there pretty much.

  • well what happens if you arent that good at drawing like i am ? .. i can only print my stuff to A4 papers,.. and sometimes i wonder how the hell the other guys are spraying if the paper isnt fixed at the wall proper good,.. i think i need some tipps from a pro ,. but cant find anyone here in vienna

  • Yeah. It just takes practice man. I mainly go bombing without stencils though so I wouldn't have the best tips haha.

  • I am somewhat of an amateur stencil bomber and I can only give you 2 useful tips

Number One: Bring a friend or two when going out to bomb, one looks for cops, the other one helps you out covering the borders of the stencil with cardboard or something like that.

Number Two: Spray glue works wonders in fixing stencils to a wall... stick glue is just as good.

One more thing, drop the A4 papers, they are good for cutting out the design, but for bombing go with acetate, inexpensive and easy to find

  • what kind of material do you use, and how do you not get under spray with such thin cut outs

  • spray glue clears that up

  • nice !!!!!!!

  • whoaaaaaaaaa I fucking love it...hey can i buy some of your work?!?!?!?!?!

  • woow amazing dude i love your style. much heart from new york

  • yo you got a fucking cool name. thats mine too.

  • wow... thats just amazing :-O

    I only do 1 layer spray paint..hehe

  • ay logan do you have any books of your work,if so i would like to purchase one. i've practiced on a few stencils and i enjoy working on stencils becase it takes your mind away. i would like enhance on the craft of stencil making. if you have some tips i would appreciate it. i do have patience to learn and create. wonderful work

  • Do you use spray adhesive to avoid underspray?

  • not sure what he uses, but i definately use spray adhesive. it works really wellwith acetate to avoid underspray and give a clean line

  • fucking awesome dude , amazing stuff

  • thumbs up.

  • WOW, i never knew stencil could be so amazing!

    how long did that take

  • That is so awesome. Congratulations the art say thak's for your gifts.

  • so awesome

  • If i get it right, then all the stencil masters like banksy or logan, they don't use any CPU programs to make a stencil?

They draw all the layers by hand?

  • eh

    depends on yourself

    its a personal thing

many consider CPU assistance taking away the creativeness, but i dont..

it still takes ideas and skill to properly make a stencil on a comp

    but its an open debate!

  • omg thats awesome!

  • Ho-Lly-Shi-T.

its better then a fucking photograph.

  • very kewl!

  • that was wicked.

  • It takes a while to get something so detailed. Does he have some kind of screen material over the stencil to keep it intact?

  • Fucking awesome!

  • ooohh crap! 0 0 O

  • So sick! I need a room like that to spray in.

  • Hands down one of the best.

  • lol, thats well useful. Just searched his name in google for artist research for GCSE art and this comes up. Awesome.

  • omg butiful

  • it would take longer to make and paint the stencil than to paint it...but with stencils he can replicate it whenever he wants

  • that is REAL art!!!

  • O.O waw sin palabras

  • wow if some would have painted this it would take 4 times as longe

  • the spraying is fast but he had to cut them all first with an exacto knife

  • it would still take 4 times as longe

  • that is one godly artist!

  • logan hicks is a god! his stuff is just crazy intricate!

  • cacete. muito bom!

  • gnarly

  • neat.

  • that was real time

  • how did he seperate the layers?

  • beautiful

  • These stencils look so delicate.. like a very fine lace! Would you happen to know what they're made of? Plastic, paper..?

  • the most popular material is 300-400gsm card, also acetate and mylar are often used, cardboard is what alot of people say but thats only over used for low detail because of its diffuculty to cut

  • Thanks!

  • All of these are just regular ol' paper that has been taped together. Regular a4 size paper, that is then cut. The same stuff you use to make copies on, or print out of your printer

  • wow...you should make a tutorial man....that's pretty good and i can't understand how did youdo that...

  • I don't get how he can spray it without holding the stencil down. When i try it like that i get tons of underspray :o/

  • its probably because the piece of piece is big

or maybe you spray paint at an angle, try right above it, so the paint is the weight pushing it down.

  • try holding the can further away, or using bannana skinny caps

  • nice one!!

  • if the cans are black its probly montana

  • yah

  • where's tha sound biotch

  • Easier to just draw that :D

  • I hate this guy...in the best way possible. lol

  • As for paint im thinking probably montana or belkin, maybe american accents or krylon...

  • belkin?

I'm not sure if that's an actual paint company.

Isn't that a audio hardware company?

  • yeah your right sorry, i meant "belton" not belkin, i think they make cables and that. Isnt logan hicks american right? so probably krylon or something... but it looks like his cans are black so... idont know.

  • just regular Rustoleum. All of the colors are regular rustoleum bought from the local Home Depot

  • This guy is insanity on crack! He's awesome.

  • hey man ,badass video. i like it(From Tehran)

  • thats rediculously cool

  • I am completely blown away...mind boggling, and then some. You are a gifted from GOD. Rick :)

    still admire your patience.

  • Damn...he's good!!! That's some impressive work! Better then mine!!! lol! I wonder how much time he spent on cutting out these stencils!!!!

  • when you spray over the frisket and the paint is still wet a large grid 9 to 12 square appear, what is that?

  • wow.... inspiring... yet, i do prefer the illegal art creating a message on property b4 and after advertising takes its place. but wow good job

  • what paper do u use to create the stencils ?

  • toilet paper, it takes a lot of practice... i could not help myself...
