how many of you out there think that reading tarot card is something anyone can learn? eg: you wake up in the morning and said, huh i have nothing to do, lets learn how to read cards. do you think it works that way? not only tarot card, palm reading, leave flipping, and many more future reading methods.

@rudderhardtoport Any one can learn to read the cards. However many people dont wake up and go "I wanna read tarot", most of the time people come across tarot in a book store or they get a reading and then want to learn it themselves.

@AngeloNasios yea that's what i was wondering, i'm a sailor. during my sailing days, i met a man in India, he could read to the extend of telling you the date you will die. of what cause and who will be around you. he actually predicted his own death. but, what i'm trying to tell you, is this. he never read books bout palm reading or anything alike, he has his ability from spirits, telling him things. he said his reading is not by him. he doesnt know anything,

@AngeloNasios it was his gods and spirits telling him and he will tell the person he's reading. now, if he reads to that accuracy, how is it for those who studied this readings from books? how accurate is their reading?

@rudderhardtoport Sounds like this man was a Medium who contacted who communicated with Spirits. Mediumship is my view is more of a gift than reading tarot cards. People with mediumship abilities tend to have it all there lives, or it develops naturally. Some people need to practice and develop the ability. Tarot is different, all other means of divination are different, as they are external tools as opposed to an internal ability like what this person from India had.

@rudderhardtoport On the matter of how accurate are the reading from people who study and learn their craft, for this example tarot reading it varies. Everyone is different in their reading style and how they approach the cards. Depending on how long they have been reading/studying and there natural inclination to the craft depends on how accurate they are. In my experience with the reading I have done and the feedback people say I am spot on.

Wow I really liked this layout/reading! I just tried it on myself for a relationship that I recently ended just last week... I got the Knight of pentacles facing the Devil card with the Queen of Cups facing away from the Devil card... I broke up with my guy because I didn't feel he was taking the relationship seriously and was playing games, I feel the cards really reflected the situation.. thank you for sharing :)

it is best to read without reversals this way you get a clear picture. But if you want to use them just see how the image changes based on the reversed card. Hope that makes sense

I shuffled and cut the deck into three piles and pulled the top card in each pile.

thank you for sharing your technique. I have used a similar technique at the beginning of a telephone reading when the client wants to see what you have to say before they open up to you. In my technique i used it to tap into the energy around the client and what is happening with them right now i did the same as you drew three cards and read them as a whole and found it very useful and also most times it turned out as pretty accurate.

The problem with Tarot for divination is the fact, that it is accepted as a divination tool because its so-told ancient origins and connections with people who built the yramids or wrote the Bible.

But these connections are a simple lie. If the truth was well-known, that Tarot was created as a card game 500 years ago, it might not be a well running bussines for the occultist industry.

And there are many people who like the truth, and like the Tarot with its 500 years old history and complexity.

I think most people know the truth already, but I agree that it's sad that they don't. But on to my point... Most anything can be used for divination, and if someone wants to use cards (whether it's tarot, playing cards, crystal balls, etc.) then that's their business. So, I see no point in getting offended by the fact that someone has decided to use them for divination reasons.

It's intuition, basically. That's the way I read. I find spreads give murky readings for me now in comparison to this technique. I sometimes use more than three cards too, it's just how many I feel comfortable with.

I would not be able to tell you what it means. Each deck is different with some similarities. Since your minors have no drawings its most likely not based from the Rider waite tradition.

They all have some of the same meaning but each deck is different. The large majority of my decks are Rider Waite. Yes I only know RW.

Did you give it a try first? They are your cards. Try and see what they are trying to say. Does it look like a movie? Moving from one scene to another or one still image? Are they interacting with other another (facing each other, moving or standing stil) see if you can form somthing first.

I can see the empress(right) is looking at the king of pentacles(middle) with love and harmony since I assume thats what the empress card is. But now there is the powerful card the lovers on the left. Does it mean the empress and king of pentacles is being united. And also in the lovers the man is on the left and the woman on the right. And also the king of pentacles is left relative to the empress. I am confused.

Read it the way it is. See how the card interacts with the other cards, Moving to or away,etc. Use reversed meanings or however you see it relate to the cards.
