@horikitamakia Yes he does speak Mandarin. In 1954,he used to talk to Deng Xiaoping in perfect Mandarin without a translator in Beijing... You know what, this Dalai Lama was born in Qinghai Province, China; he is not even a native Tibet-born Tibetan... Why he never speaks Mandarin in public is b/c he refuses to represent himself as Chinese ethnicity. But why the hell does he speak English? Maybe english might be the native language of Tibetans then...

@sakuraniwashun it apears you are not fond of Dalai, and as far as I know, Dalai is not fond of Chinese government either. Supposing you might be a chinese according to the accent of the video posted on you channel, the story and information you receive may differ from the world, and thats what I found after talking with lots of chinese students about their civil right issue. well, neither am I defending Dalai, nor against Chinese government. The peace can only be reached by "Understanding".
