It is perfectly reasonable to assume that more than one composer can use the same or similar ascending/descending chords as each other without actually stealing said music. I hope poeple agree that A Saucerful of Secrets, Echoes and Time are Pink Floyd's best work because they are composed by everyone in the band. Pink Floyd music is so unique only when the 4 men are together. Their chemistry worked and just look at this version of Echoes; Gilmour's guitar gives me chills, accompanied by Waters and Mason's solid bass line and drums, with Wright just clumps everything together and make it more interesting. I miss Pink Floyd so much

OH AND THIS SONG MADE ME APPRECIATE PINK FLOYD A LOT MORE. the local radio station constantly plays them and i was gettin pretty sick of hearin em. then i watched the whole pompeii dvd and totally fell for em again. now theyre all i really listen to and play on my guitar haha. but still, echoes is my absolute favorite. i guess ud call it the chorus? but it makes me tingle and almost brings a tear to my eye during some of the peaks..actually it does bring tears..tears of joy and beauty!
