  • Mr.Nesbitt says there's something there that can't be explained.wqell there is something there, that's for sure.but it can be explained. you do not have the ghosts of civial war soldiers here.you have familier spirits disguising themselves as the ghosts of civil war soldiers.

  • Love that place, we were just there. My wife woke me up "well tried" ha ha...

She heard "didn't see" a person walking back & forth in our room at the edge of the bed.

Like it was doing something, walking around the room. Then complete silence again...

I never woke up I was dead to the world... every cool though... I've never seen a ghost, though my wife isn't lying. she never said the term ghost, just "something"...

  • The ppl that died there knew what Gettysburg was about.. it was about the last stand of the sovereign states vrs the ones who went Federal.. look at it now.. a bloated Federal government that controls everything. ppl WANT to think secession can be achieved..like AK and TX threatened to do very recently. So..read what Jefferson Davis said about the reason for the war. The states seceded from the union..but the bankers "bought and paid for Lincoln" Secession is not possible. Civil War proved that.

  • I live in Gettysburg....have lived here all my life. Generations have lived here too and we have NEVER seen a ghost....enough of this nonsense....

  • @centralparocker I agree with you...

  • THREEEE DAWWGG THATS ME KIDS COMING TO U LIVE FROM MY FORTIFYED BUNKER IN A D.C. HELL HOLE!(ain't life grand)

  • why would ghosts stay in the same place for hundreds of years when they could travel anywhere they choose to

  • 3 Dogs Awoooooooo!!!

  • Im a Confederate Civil War Re-enactor(31st Alabama Vol.Infantry) and I was there for the big 145th Battle, and in the night while on Guard duty,I went into the woods to pee.Well when I was coming out I saw two yankee soldiers walking around.Sounds normal TILL THEY DISAPPEARED!!!!! And later on I heard what sounded like screaming, and you can tell that they were either really dying or really good at sounding like they were.

  • @XxDevin2xX WOW!! How did you react to that?

  • @zucchini2007 I ran the hell outta there hahaha I was in my tent scared outta my mind.

  • @XxDevin2xX Have you ever seen any apparitions in broad daylight?

  • @XxDevin2xX

I believe you. When we were exiting the battle grounds, and there was no reenactment that day, we drove slowly right past 2 men dressed as confederates leaning against a fence. There was no reason for them to be right there, away from everything. It was very odd. When we looked back a couple seconds later they were just...gone.

  • I remember this being on Travel Channel all the time. Now it's all about Man vs Food or something stupid. Nothing against Man vs Food, but just miss those shows about the paranormal or some kind of mystery.

  • @scottieman2 Ghost adventures still airs on the Travel Channel very late at night. Of course they put it at night, to scare the hell out of everyone.

  • @zucchini2007 Oh, thanks. Love that show. I still wish they showed this once in a while. It's fun to watch it at night. See if anything creepy happens.

  • All the ghost stories and still not any 100% prove its real. I kinda would like to believe but i cant its just a good story thats all.

  • Which part has the Blue Boy in it?? Cuz i Saw this when I was little, and for some reason that Blue Boy always scared me more.

  • like i said, i just dont think its as haunted as people say it is, doesnt mean theres nothing out there. but its bull when people come here to film "ghosts" and they find something everynight or on their first night. no, doesnt happen like that.

  • its all fake lived around here my whole life never seen a damn thing in gettysburg, and yes i do believe in the paranormal but i disagree that gettysburg is as haunted as they say it is. I go on the battlefeild very often especially devils den, little round top, and what us locals call the covered bridge, and like i said ive never seen a thing

  • @abloodillusion Maybe you're just not sensitive to these things. Nothing personal, but just because you personally haven't seen anything doesn't mean there's nothing there. Who knows? Certainly, if a place becomes haunted where there is a lot of violent, painful death, Gettysburg is certainly a prime location for it.

  • i just went today on a field trip

  • I go here every year..the most spooky place I went to at night alone is spanglers spring

  • I have wanted to go to Gettysburg my whole life. Can't wait to go and take pictures and do a ghost hunt.

  • @Xmonica15X That must've freaked ur teacher out lol XD But all laughing aside, I was there twice. Once during the day then a few years aft at night. Both times didn't c anything, just a headache. Maybe it's a psychic thing idk.

  • I'm here for Three Dog.

  • I went there twice n didn't c or sense any ghosts. Just a huge migraine that didn't go away til I left.... Which is kinda weird when ya think about it. I haven't had those headaches b4 n after I went there. do u people know anybody that experienced this?

  • @Kuroneko388 I got the same thing when me and my school visited Devils Den for a feild trip.. I got scared and jumped on my teacher >.<

  • I go there every year,I have since I was 7. It is such an awesome place, the ghosts, aren't that bad, I know people who scream when they see them, why should you scream, they are people, like you and me, just transparent at times. If you respect them, they will respect you. I believe in God, but I think I was a soldier in another live. A confederate to be exact. I think I died there though, I believe that we can come back from the dead in another life. If there is something we didn't accomplish.

  • @Thebadguy1987 Actually my comment was serious. (Unlike yours, or was it?)

  • @Thebadguy1987 Ok, I couldn't tell if you were making fun or "Making Fun"! :)

  • I am going to have a fild trip there!

  • oh shit....itz three dog

  • @LTRiDa hahahhahahahahahaahha

  • do you really live in gettysburg if there is one thing i would like most in life is to see where it all happened i am a bit of an historion on the civil war it stems from an constant occuring dream i had as a young boy that i was a confederate officer and the i was badly wounded and bleeding in a recess or cave or such i used to wake up in dread i grew out of it though

  • @Ant1fa5 Fallout 3! Nice

  • I may say I don't believe in ghosts, but I know when they're around, and traveling through Gettysburg I was constantly looking around.

  • my great great great grandpa died at gettysburg. would be cool to encounter him there

  • @bikepeddlar6 He would say to you this...

"You piece of shit, I got your NAME, I GOT YOUR NUMBER." Just like in full metal jacket

  • No bodies that could be found was left to rot in Gettysburg, mostly because fields were returned to farming ASAP by locals.Contractors were hired to gather the bodies and bury them in mass graves.

Some bodies may have been left unseen in densely wooded parts, but it wasn't intentional.

  • The most important thing to remember when seeing a spirit in Gettysburg is that they were people, and they died suddenly and miserably. The best thing you can do is acknowledge their sacrifice, and tell them it is over, they can cross.

  • What i find strange is, why dont you hear much more of haunted battlefields? How about Auschwitz? Allot of people died a horrible death, it should be riddled with paranormal activity!

  • @Necramoniumdotcom it is but they dont like people in there at night its closed

  • Ghosts are people who have passed before their time and have unfinished business that they are trying to attend to but don't realize they've been dead for hundreds of years. Simply tell the spirit 'It's time for you to move on now, your mortal time is over and it's time for you to go to your rest.' Worked for me and believe me I'm the MOST haunted person in my family!

  • Ghosts are people too. They're just humans who have been exposed to ungodly amounts of death and haven't had the good fortune to move on. So keep your bigotry at the door, people. This is THREE DOG AWOOO

  • these paranormal investigators are a joke

  • @lln003 you suck

  • @Dennizjoon

    blah blah blah

  • The narrator sounds like the Hulu guy.

  • @Tamaslammer his name is Erik Dellums :)

  • @GatewayDXSeries

    Well there ya go....

  • RIP to all the people who fought for our freedom!

  • @KatrinaB2010 probably the racist side are burning in hell .

  • @cagonesss It is much more complicated than that.

  • Is that 3 Dog from Fallout 3 as the narrator?

  • @Railer61 yeah...

  • this doesn't sound like a voice it sounds like noise

  • i just went there today and i took a picture at noon and i look at it my pic had a face in it and a body and the face look like it was scared

  • @ajarmetta i have tons a pics of gettysburg. and every pic has some sort of spirit in it. i took a pic of the hotel in gettysburg and got a ghost cat setting in the window. it didn't bother me one bit. ghost don't really scare me. and i respect them.

  • Wow they left the bodys of the confederates, thats pretty low.

  • When i went to Gettysburg with my boy scout troop in May, my friends took pictures and were able to get orbs in their pictures.

  • We watched this in the 6th grade<3

  • this video is hogshit

  • What a bunch of crap. I've walked from Seminary Ridge up to the Emmitsburg Road in the moonlight through Spangler's Farm and I didn't see no stinkin' ghosts, I did see a bunch of weirdos dressed up like Confederate soldiers in town though, may be they were the ghosts!!

  • @raidereddie You can't expect to see ghosts every time you go somewhere. Seeing them are very rare. And you can't say there are no ghosts just because you didn't see any. I've never seen China, but somehow, I know it's there:)

  • ive been here and seen it too. watch my disfigured ape video series

  • I love to go to Gettysburg to visit the memorial site and cemeteries and haunted places. It's so exciting.

  • Thanks for uploading this documentary! It was quite interesting to watch :) @tenirpaslager I agree! we should be more scared of the living then the dead because they have real potential to do something harmful.

  • Thanks for the upload keep the comeing

  • after being requested to cross over by the team so he could go to Heaven, the evp does not say ....Heaven...

    he said ........"I can't".........

  • nah i doubt that shit is real... and if it is, then were all fucked! cuz even inoscent ghosts are arround right? :D

  • @TehKazangsta

doubt all you want ...but not all of us all are fucked

  • oh you wanna bet? theres not a fuckin soul thats never cursed or lied. and so i quote myself again: "were all fucked"

  • @TehKazangsta

    yeah....you're fucked!

  • lol get your shit straight, changin your comments n shit haha......

  • @TehKazangsta

you just validated my last comment to you!

  • @tippitytop1 To quote from Braveheart: "The Lord assures me he can get me out of this mess, but he's pretty sure, you're fucked."

  • @stigmajosh

I'm sorry to hear you're fucked

  • why do they try to make these things scary. It would be very interesting if they made these shows not to scare you with stupid music and retarded commentators, but instead with people who want to make it fun to explore the unknown.

  • @Finchy000

go to the kiddy land section

of your local library then :)

  • give me a fucking break,

  • I am from the Uk and this is one place I would love to see.

  • its a nice place, i go to the battlefield every week, but i have not ever seen anything yet, but its still a really beautiful place to go.

  • Same, pay my respects for the confederates :d.

  • @queensrgt1986 Gettysburg is a beautiful town and the battlefield is just amazing...i went there once when i was little and i just can't stop going back

  • Yes, Gettysburg is haunted. I live here. I can honestly say, this is one town that makes their living off the dead. Very sad. They can't let the dead rest because there is always a "dollar" to be had. Yet the town always says it's broke. That's even sadder.Look at all the beautiful trees the Park Service cut off the battlefield in the name of restoring it to it's original appearance in 1863. All the deer the Park Service slaughtered in the name of restoring the battlefield to 1863. Even sadder.

  • I have been to Gettysburg, at lest twice in my live, and I have learned that those, who ignore the past, will repeat it. Because the ghosts of both armies still haunt the town.

  • @JohnnyReb777

i live about an hour from gettysburg, my cousin got dragged across the ground in triangular field once

  • Well it's not that they can't let the dead rest it's just the fact that there are so many that we can't really help them all. I still agree with you though I go there twice a year and there's always some kind of ghost tour going on it's very sad. I enjoy the ghost stories but if people hadn't talked about them as much people could have a better experience with the ghosts.

  • @purrkiti

You'll have to forgive me if I fail to object to the slaughter of deer. They have proven too adaptable, devour shrubbery and spread Lyme disease. I tend to give Bambi short shrift. Did the Park Service even cut down the so-called "witness trees" that were there when the battle happened?

I always thought you people had a strange relationship with your ghosts. I loved to imagine you guys having townhall meetings with your spectres trying to drum up more tourists.

  • @purrkiti

It would make a great "indie" film, I must say. A town where the living and the dead are in routine communication.

By the way, did you ever get the "Cyclorama" restored?

  • i went there and herd cannon fire in the middle of the night.

  • were you scared

  • I went to Gettysburg on October 5th 2007 and then again on November 18th 2007. MY GF and I love Getty'sBurg

  • hey this guy is three dog in fallout 3

  • I was there last Father's Day. It's an amazing place!

  • i used to live like 5 minutes away from gettysburg when i was like 3 years old. i used to see 2 dead soldiers every day for about a few months. it wasnt scary at all

  • 3dowg

  • we wacthed this today in Math lol we wacthed it right afther tearsher island

  • It's amazing to think that in three short days, 56,000 American men died. That's about as many as the total casualty listing for the Vietnam War. And to think... they did it with (by today's standards) simple muskets...

  • i live in Gettysburg. i have experienced this stuff all my life. it really not that scary. you get used to it after a while

  • you should write a small little book on your experiences and sell it there. i would love to know of others experiences there. i went quite a few times but no ghost sitings though. :( darn lol

  • @wildonyx2006

Somebody ought to make an "indie" movie about the Old Place, where they live on tourism and the living regularly commune with the dead. Perhaps the ghosts and the living could be depicted having town hall meetings. In these times of "Lost", "Harry Potter" and "True Blood" it'd be a hit.

  • @wildonyx2006 Is it all really real?

  • the voice isn't saying ...heaven

    it's saying

    ......"I cant"

Meaning it is unable to cross over and is stuck-

    for whatever reason

  • sweet Im going in like a week for the ghosts of gettysburg tour!

  • you are gonna shit yourself!!! I did that 2 years ago and i never been that scared in my life

  • iam going this summer and iam just gonna travel around it on my own without dumb guides

  • Is this show on the history channel?

  • a lot of inaccuracy in the numbers being thrown around in this video.

  • THREE DOG *Howls*

  • *howls with*

  • *howls with with*
