  • Amen, i am not a follower of paul..WE both are follower of JESUS CHRIST!

  • Washer is damnably wrong. Salvation didn't cost us a thing. It cost God everything, His only begotten Son, and let us who believe on Him never forget it. For even in Heaven we'll see the wounds laid bare in His Body. Salvation is a gift from God. Pity the misguided heretic and his followers claiming otherwise, they will not be allowed to utter one boastful word about what it cost them, or how they persevered to the end, or any other such Calvinist doctrine

If it ain't free, it's a false gospel

  • "I'm sure it made perfect sense to him, but there's no reason whatever for me to believe that his writings (including the book of Romans) are anything more than the speculations of an old religious man." by someone below. Just an observation. an OLD religious man? Why do we make old so bad? And besides these guys died before many of us in probaly their 30's or 40's. Couldn't possibly be "old"!

  • Look, if you still don't want to believe its up to you. But i tell you man, even if you reject God, He still loves you and wants you to be saved. I just pray that you will have a change of heart. Punishment because of sin is for all of us. But God is offering salvation, its up to us if we will accept it or not.

  • 2 Timothy 3:16-17

"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God[a] may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."

those followers of God who wrote the passages in the Bible were inspired and guided by the Holy Spirit. They wrote the things that God impressed to them or told them so, those passages in the Bible, like in Romans, are not just thoughts of an old religious dude.

  • Excellent. Thanks for sharing. God bless!

  • God can't love me, I'm gay! He will never love me, no matter how much I love him back. I've always wanted to be his child and one of his children but it's not something I do on my own, I can't help myself. I'm a faggot, and I always will be.

  • @justa16thnote God can and does love you! You are His child! Every hair on your head is numbered to Him! He knows you personally and knows everything about you. I'm not gay, but I DO know God loves you. He loves all of His creation. Don't judge yourself so hard. Christ loves you too, and you are always judged for yourself and nothing else!

  • @justa16thnote Man, you should really stop listening to these weird preachers. They've fucked your mind! You're actually believing that there's a creator deity out there who cares who you have sex with and how. You're actually believing there's a god out there who's monitoring your thoughts and taking not of every gay thought and has a punishment in store for you. Do you have any idea how paranoid that is? Relax dude. There's no reason whatever even to believe that any god exists at all.

  • @scruethedemiurge

Hey, I know what you are saying. I said the same thing 5 years ago. I didn't believe in a God. I was an atheist. Then a year later, my life wrecked and God saved me through the blood of Christ. Read chapter 1 of the book of Romans in the New Testament. There is a reason to know that God exists and He really cares. Repent man, and believe in the gospel.

  • @martialbrook I've read the Bible before, including the book of Romans. You said "I know what you are saying." So apparantly you read my comment to that other guy. So, you know what I think about the book of Romans. The author, Saint Paul was just a guy writing what he thought. I'm sure it made perfect sense to him, but there's no reason whatever for me to believe that his writings (including the book of Romans) are anything more than the speculations of an old religious man.

  • @justa16thnote (continued) Furthermore, these preachers who talk about being gay is a sin, they're just repeating past religionists like St. Paul. St. Paul writes in the new testament that being gay is a terrible sin, so christians believe it. They believe it's the word of god. It never occured to those idiots that St. Paul was just a guy writing what he thought. JUST A GUY WRITING WHAT HE THOUGHT. And what he wrote was the rantings of a severely depressed man who hated his and all life.

  • Short and sweet and right to the point!!! AMEN!!

  • If you go to hell its because God made you for hell;

He has a wonderful message to bad he is a prideful Calvinist that believes God made some men for heaven and some men were made for hell.

His imagination of God is not so loving.

He will not give an altar call to come and receive Jesus now at this moment

He will guard the offer of Soul Salvation from men You might not be chosen....

You might be one of those made for hell?

  • Amen... the way he talk is exactly that...

Everyone who has a relationship with God is saved

  • Please read Joh 6:44. Calvinism doesnt say that believers in God and Jesus can be damned to hell. If you believe in Christ, you're already one of His elect

  • Please explain what does it mean to believe in Jesus?

  • It is trusting upon the finished work of Christ on the cross on your behalf, trusting in God''s grace and mercy and having no trust in your own works to be right before God.

  • I can not count my works of any value to the Lord

Isaiah 64:6 .But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

What do you mean trusting in God''s grace and mercy?

  • I did not intend to personify grace and mercy, but that grace and mercy describe God's actions in sending Christ to die as a propitiation for our sins.

  • I know Jesus died on the Cross for mans sins

    What do I do?

Dont I have to get saved?

  • I'll let Peter tell you:

38Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call."

  • Does this mean I ask for forgiveness of Jesus and ask the preacher to baptize me in [a pool of] water [or is sprinkling ok]?

  • Here's Paul: 31They replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household." 32Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all the others in his house. 33At that hour of the night the jailer took them and washed their wounds; then immediately he and all his family were baptized. 34The jailer brought them into his house and set a meal before them; he was filled with joy because he had come to believe in God—he and his whole family.

  • This sounds so easy just believe;

    I believe George Washington lived

I believe Jesus lived is that enough.just believe?

  • What kind of work are you wanting to do to be saved, because that's what it sounds like you are getting at.

Apparently Paul and Peter's message to repent and believe the Gospel are not enough for you.

  • Even demons believe and demons lie.

If I believe and repent whats the difference?

  • Salvation is never promised to demons.

46He told them, "This is what is written: The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, 47and repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

  • You believe does that mean your saved?

  • Scripture is not enough for you it seems.

What are you trying to get at?

    Why the 20 questions game?

  • Our word exchange ...it seems futile, empty, lacking..

    Believe I believe

    Repent I repent

    So am I saved?

and If this formula has made you saved; why are you ashamed to say you are?

  • You are mistaken in thinking it is a formula. Salvation is a supernatural work of God, not a formula my friend.

When the Holy Spirit convicts a person of sin and shows them their need of a Savior, there will be repentance towards God and faith in Jesus. Yes, I am saved.

  • What is the conviction of the Holy Spirit in your understanding?

  • An understanding of your sinfulness before a Holy God that leaves a person crying out something like "have mercy upon me Lord."

  • Crying out?

Is the cry in response due to mental realization youre a sinner? or

Are you saying you feel something that would make you cry?

  • What do you think 'crying out' means? Especially when there is a quote after it...

  • Its questionable to the person doing the crying.

A wolf crying; is also known as a howling.

  • @diligentile

We are saved if we have no sinful nature anymore and can reach perfection, acc to Matth. 5:48: Become perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect.

  • The embarassement, or shame, comes from not even deserving it, being able to admit it, but still recieving it.

we know that we are sinners, having down down right evil deeds, and still continue to do some, and yet he loves us enough to let us into his love....you can't see where shame or embarassment would come from?

  • Yeah, this man is right on.

  • Keep Tellin it like we all need to hear it Brother Paul. God Bless you and your Ministry.

  • Amen
