I think they are both amazing games... One neither better or worse than the other, where one lacks in one area the other picks up. It just comes down to personal opinion, Halo is my choice, mainly because of good memories with my family. But I play Gears of War with my husband...it's just all a matter of opinion.

@razrback312 ok about ur first comment he can jump 10 feet in the air because 1) he's on a ring world so there's gonna be dif gravity and 2) he's a Spartan. they go through augmentation with tons of steroids pumped into them so they can be super soldiers so ya, he's gonna jump high. and u can aim down the pistols sights, but it's more like a scope. except in halo 3.

Master Chief forgot to add that while he killed all those covenant he kept jumping around 10 feet in the air like an idiot and didn't have to aim down the sight of that crappy Halo 2 pistol because Spartans can defy physics and firing accurately while jumping 10 feet in the fucking air.

You're right, during a Spartans augementation they practically take away their sex drive.

But the funny part is the a Spartan could rip a human being in half without trouble.

Halo would win hands down.

Spartans can take their armor off stupid, it's not like it's a body part or something, so obviously he can piss.

@H3Forge You dont make any sense. Tons of people still play Gears. What proof do you have that they don't? The dude in prototype could lift a tank, it was still a shitty game. Halo doesn't even hardly take any strategy, if any at all. You could stand in the middle of a warzone tossing grenades and shooting like a madman and still have won the fight. I dont see much fun in that. The only thing Halo was good for was multiplayer and even that wasnt that great.

Halo takes more skill than GoW at least. If GoW took more skill than Halo, it would be the #1 game in MLG instead of Halo. But all Gears of War's strategy is Rolling up to the enemy and chainsawing them to death. That's all. Halo Reach has Reticle Bloom, you can't shoot like a madman, you actually have to shoot at a good pace.

@H3Forge Clearly you haven't seen the beta videos where this girl plays and can't hit shit cause she can control her spread. or maybe you have and choose to be ignorant. either way gears does have this. and for the record chainsaws can be stopped by shooting. halo melee can always happen even during rocket explosions.
